Maryland is the only state to Tax digital products

Maryland is now the only state that taxes digital downloads, in app purchases, subscriptions and memberships at its 6% state sales tax rate.

House bill 733 was vetoed my the governor only to be overrode by the congress. How else would they pay for their communist agenda?

Strengthens their brick and mortar businesses by leveling the playing field with people who order Amazon etc.. and provides revenue.

I hope you’re not thinking this is why they’re doing it? They don’t gaf about brick and mortar businesses. You should have saw that when the only thing allowed open during the pandemic was Amazon no small mom and pop businesses.

And this tax in one state won’t hurt Amazon at all. The only thing it will do is punish people in Maryland. And the leftist government will use this money to fund critical race theory and the further destruction of the state.
