Absolutely surreal, actively censoring anyone who disagrees with the government policies. It's international, it's mostly coming from large tech companies that have a monopoly in their industries.

This is likely a precedent for similar policies in the future. We are on the eve of some dark times, but there is also a real possibility for an alternative to the centralized web as we know it.

That is really the hope for a free society, an alternative to our current network that is not controlled by governments and corporations.
