Reading the article it sounds like he got the wrong judge (a female) and she sentenced him to more time than even the prosecutor was asking for. It sounds like the prosector was asking for 12.5 years and his lawyer was trying to angle for 7 years and this sloot judge puts both of the sentences together and gives him 20 frickin years. I agree with everyone in this thread so far...this was way, way too harsh of a sentence and I hope he can get it reduced with an appeal.
I think he's wrong for misrepresenting what he planned on doing with the footage. I think if you take hypotheticals of alternate ways of the footage getting online, its a different case and I have a different perspective. If he really did just distribute it overseas and it leaked online, I don't think you can go after him for the actions of another. And if he distributed "on DVDs only"or whatever crock excuse he gave them but also added the US market and it leaked online...I could still support him. But he specifically denied that he was going to be doing the very specific thing he intended to do with the videos. I will also add that if he didn't make any specific statements or specific denials I could also support him. He knew what their specific concern was and misrepresented what he was doing in order to get them to do it.
One last point is that in America just because you take a video or picture of someone doesn't necessarily mean you own it for life for any purpose whatsoever that you choose. And if you think you can, I want you to go to an event and take a picture of yourself and Michael Jordan. Start a shoe brand. Put that picture of MJ on the box. Report back to me.

The way that this guy's mind operated means that the universe put him where he belongs, because he was no longer seeing reality like those around him.
You can use this law to your advantage - change your 'worst' thoughts and beliefs of your personality, and you can change YOUR personal-reality.
Like this dude thinks its OK and even NORMAL to basically trick people into doing his bidding, hence why he's going to be surrounded by other, like-minded individuals.

If you've guys seen czechcasting videos of the girls on the couch, the guy coerces a lot of the girls on camera to do sexual acts.
