I have a convection oven. I rarely use it in comparison to the air fryer. Why heat up an oven when airfryer takes 1 min and cooks in half the time at probably 1/3 the power needed. BRB waiting 10 min for convection oven to heat up to heat one hamburger patty.

I saw the ****s over at Reddit say the same thing. Them shills have no idea what they're talking about 95% of the time.

no chit an air fryer is $100 and a convection oven is $2000.

Is a 4.2qt air fryer worth it just for chicken tenders, fries, and sometimes hashbrowns?

I have a Mealthy lid that goes on top of my Instant Pot. Turns it into an air fryer. I use it to make steak, fries, chicken wings, I love it. Best part is it doesn’t take up much space and doesn’t heat up my house like my oven/broiler.

Mine is just 4q, can cook a whole rack of baby back ribs cut in half, 2-4 steaks depending on size, 4 hamburger patties (maybe more), more fries/tenders/wings than I could eat probably even half of in one meal (I'm a light eater though). It's not big enough for a whole family, but fine for 2 people and easily fine for just you.

Get one that’s like a toaster oven. It is essentially just a toasted oven with a convection fan blowing inside.

There is no going back.

Microwave takes 30 seconds to a couple minutes. I still use it only if I’m in a great rush or if I’m warming rice or pasta (soggy foods)

Air fryer can take 2 minutes (breads) to 30 minutes (frozen tendies) plus. But the results are yumfuknlicious

I love mine it is super easy to use and to clean.

But I tried to make chicken wings twice and both times they came out, I don’t know, weird and I had to scrub the hell out of the inside of the air fryer to get the chicken wings smell out of there

You don’t have wire rack kind thing?

Food gets hard/burnt on the wire and I just knock it off and it’s gone.

I make grilled chicken and sausage in mine. I feel like they are worth it, but they do take up a lot of counter space so think about storage and surface area.

That doesn't really explain a thing to give any advice.

I rarely even clean mine, doesn't need it. I just put tinfoil in the bottom and change it once a month and it never smells funny or weird, all the old stuff just bakes off or crusts over, leaving no smells.
