When I came back to the Misc after a decade away, it was weird to me how pretty much no one actually lifts weights.

Sometimes they ask as a joke/flirting. Obviously the number doesn't mean anything to them.

Cheer up, brah.

I'll say 405 next time. The kind of people that ask don't know any better anyway.

no one i've met can bench over 4 plates who isn't on gear and who isn't a fat kunt (obviously your lifts should be a certain % of your bodyweight to remain impressive)

if someone is 50lbs less than you but is proportionally strong, thats just as impressive. just like power/weight ratio in a car. same thing

If a guy asked me this I would clown him so badly he'd probably be embarrassed to go to the gym for the next week and might stop working out permanently lmao. Might work if the guy you are trying to mog is socially awkward or intimated by you but could definitely backfire if the brah is a smooth talker.

Then it would probably be a running joke all night and everyone I interacted with would clown him as well.

If a girl asked I'd tell her I wasn't totally sure she should come spot me at my place so we could find out.

Just to be clear, I don't ask anyone ever because I don't give a fuk. I hate talking about lifting outside the gym.

Guys tend to ask me because of how I look. No need to clown anyone. I just give a straight up answer. Sometimes I'll jokingly say I don't lift or go to the gym at all.

Is the bloat comment always the default cope from tiny/weak guys? You look like you don't even go to the gym lol. Just a naturally skinny guy with a fragile frame who doesn't eat that much.

More like just training hard and consistently for over a decade and not sucking at it.
