Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Also, who knows if he had a weapon on him? Or if he was going to attack the cop and possibly murder, or cause serious harm?


If you break the law, the cops are allowed to do whatever they need to do to stop you. This is a fact. Don't like that? Don't break the law, and you have nothing to worry about. Listen to what a cop tells you to do, follow all of their instructions without hesitation, and you will have NO problems

Needs more context. Any accidents? Anyone hurt as a result? Did he attempt to run a cop off the road in the process of escaping? Did he have a weapon? Is he a wanted felon? Don't know how much I'd trust the media in LA to give us the whole picture.

My uncle was a good cop, he was a good man in general.

It's not in their power to make things right, their power is vested in the government at the highest levels.

yes they do, especially if they're knocked unconscious. The pointsomeonein this thread isn't understanding is that cops are not the judge jury and executioner of punishment. Once the criminal has submitted or is subdued is its not in the cops job description to "dish-out" additional punishment.

Yeah man I agree. Not even a piece of chit should be kicked in the face like that. Stay professional. Even if the kunt just shot at you. If he's no threat anymore, deal appropriately. This is why government and civilians trust you with lethal force afterall. But honestly I think cops are getting replaced with even worse version of PMC type corpocops in the future.

I agree with you that there is corruption at the top that trickles down through coercion and manipulation. Its like that on all levels, not just for LE but includes our level as civilians.

If we, collectively, aren't at a point where we can wrestle that power back, then the best thing we can do is draw a line internally where we don't allow corruption to enter, and if that pressure gets too great, quit that industry.

I have an inlaw that used to work at a large financial lender, and he quit because he said he had to look people in the eye everyday and lie to them. It wore on him and he figured it was more important to maintain his own integrity and sanity than to have a successful career in finance.

Grew up there, on and off lived there throughout my life. Dude wasn't in a good or bad area, but very close to a very bad area, probably one of the reasons the cop was on edge. I'm pro cop, but that was messed up. I'd say a third of the cops in that city are fuked from my experiences with them.
