Depends how this bear market plays out. We'll see if we have another bull market in 2022 or if it's another 3 year bear market.

well even better yet, if you wanna escalate your path to wealth pick up alts cheap vs btc value then flip them back to BTC during alt season for 2x, 3x the amount. If you bought 10 ETH with BTC back in January and sold back for BTC in May or June you would've almost tripled or doubled the amount BTC you originally spent on ETH.

I just started trading stocks about 4 months ago and then I began trading crypto later.

I'm only 4 months in and I'm basically Nostradamus already lol, wait til you see what I can do with 1 year experience.



I have a background in poker and sports bets but I barely talk about that because I have already mastered it.

I'm right most of the time there as well.

Check the MMA section.



Once I master this game, I probably won't talk about crypto or stocks.

Still trying to get it down to 30k.

A few heavy players including silbert tried to tweet to get people wary of the upcoming week. The price is dipping but still a ways to go before we hit 30k. Still observing. The bears struggle so hard in this range to get it lower

You're never going to buy the bottom and sell the top.

$2800 will turn out to be a bargain price for ETH.

If the volatility isn't to your liking, look into dollar cost averaging.

Brah...I got into Crypto in January 2018... I know your pain. Good learning curve though.

By definition (according to Investopedia) we are in - or very close to being - a bear market, but even now when I woke up I saw a popular crypto influencer still talking about moon fantasies to their followers.

"Bear markets are often associated with declines in an overall market or index like the S&P 500, but individual securities or commodities can also be considered to be in a bear market if they experience a decline of 20% or more over a sustained period of time—typically two months or more."

Maybe there will be a recovery that all us bears are shocked by, but the prudent thing to do now IMO is assume the bear market will continue for the foreseeable future, and adopt bear market strategies. (e.g. selling to buy back lower when the market bottoms out, simply HODLing if you believe in the asset long term, presale hunting, dollar cost averaging, etc).

I guess the tricky part here is picking a good alt to buy and hold? vs the chitty alts that might die out in the bear market

I would be very careful in switching to bear mode just because of two months if decline. Remember the first month was kicked off by elon and the second was china fud. This Is china as well and we still haven't gone below 30k (for not longer then 1 minute lol).

So to go lower we are waiting on the next round of fud. This downward movement is not organic at all. in a real bear market you don't need fud to move down. So it begs the the question do we recover when the funds stops? I guess we will see. I encourage everybody to do your research and think critically.

I'm not saying we can't go bear but there are a lot of motives with bullhorns right now.

I think we just need more retail investors to sell. And and we are slowly getting there.

The way of the world is that most of the wealth is in the hands of the big boys and crypto will be no different. More retail needs to sell and then we have them buy back at a much higher level . That's after hedge funds, institutions, and countries take their portions. And the modus operandi is restored.

The dream of having a sht ton of regular folks sitting in wealth just can't happen lol
