How Do I Improve Neck Mobility? (srs)

Stand up straight and try to look as far over your shoulder as you can. When I do that I feel a tightness in my upper back so it's really painful to look over my shoulder. Any physio brahs can tell me which muscle is causing it? If i look over my left shoulder its like a sore ache from neck down the centre (but slightly offset to the right) back, about 7-9 inches down then it stops.
Poverty reps for a diagnosis and some exercises I can do to help it
