No, it wasn't immaturity, it was just dumb and laziness. That's literally exactly what I would have predicted. The "breakup" was such a non-issue, I don't even think she meant it, but OP overreacted for some reason and assumed it. The conflict was NOT resolved, the point is, there was no conflict to need resolution to begin with. He's 32 btw.

Because she said she "wasn't sure" about hanging out again. I was used to her saying yes. And, as others in this thread have said, "not sure" for many women means "no". So I took it to mean she was done.

But yeah I think you're right, in as far as there really wasn't a conflict. We just picked up right where we left off. I think you're right in your initial response to my text screenshots, I just...gave up.

And now, after being on a date, she doesn't bring up the vaccine or "not sure" about getting together again. She just wants to get together again and didn't set up barriers.

I'm sure that vaccine issue will come up again, but I also think we're at least a couple months away from meeting parents.

At the end, she walked to my car (she wasn't parked close to me so idk) and hugged, kissed, etc. I didn’t offer to go back to my place at the end. BUT I did text her shortly after the date and said it was good to see her, glad we were able to reconnect. She got back to me right away, said her too, she had fun. We now have plans to meet up again next week. Nothing concrete, but I'll suggest a movie at my place.

look, just don't give up so easily. You have to be sure, not like assuming its over with. Have more faith in yourself and be less insecure.

Well said.
I think it is okay to be single. But once we find a person we like, we should try out best to work things out.
We should always pursue things or people we like, and not give up easily.

It's the needy way she responded that made me make that statement. People have lives, work and school, it's fully expected that people may not respond until later the next evening. The fact that she "broke up" with you over that means you're looking towards a life of her calling the shots and making a big deal out of little things.

Not to mention she has a strong opinion about your personal choices (vaccinations). You're crazy for wanting to be with someone who is already showing signs of being super controlling.

I like focus times and don't like randomizing my day, so yesometimesI'll see a non-urgent text and not respond until hours later or the next day.

That's intentional and "on purpose" I guess so I can get other **** done. Women are innately attracted to it btw.

I already said this, but OP responded to this point like a pandering beta.

wat? did you just make a random generalization that is the exact opposite of what the woman we are discussing wanted??

responding in a timely manner shows interest. not responding to your boys random meme text til the day is one thing. not responding to or bothering to initiate a conversation with the girl you are sleeping with that you have genuine feelings for is a fake tough guy play that any quality women would see right through and next, just like she did.

There's no fakeness to it in my scenario, I love how you conveniently ignored the rest of the post w/ all the context. I'm fully transparent with women about this.

good job OP. i think it will be important for you avoid looking like you got the vaccine just for her.

i was hesitant about getting vaccinated myself but came around after extensively researching them. tell her the science behind the vax is not as novel/untested as you initially thought it was and that the risks associated with the vaccine are significantly lower than you initially thought they were. happy to give more details over PMs if needbe.

i didn't ignore anything in your post. you and OP have a similar take on this and it's what led to the demise of his relationship with the girl he had genuine feelings for. i.e. his take was wrong which completely refutes your generalization that women prefer this. they clearly do not (at least not on a whole, maybe certain ones individually do).

you constantly post your lack of success with women and then blame it on things like your height when clearly your personality and the way you view women is major contributing factor to your failures in dating. good luck not listening to women and not communicating with them effectively, that's been working out real well for you *******. try men

idk why this thread keeps getting bumped...it seems to be a settled matter, but i guess it's a good discussion topic.

Anyways, latest update since our date after reconciling...went out again on Wednesday for sushi and movie at my place. She spent the night. We didn't phuck. I didn't care. I was feeling very lightheaded and sweaty earlier in the night, nearly passed out. Scary as **** and wanted to take it easy after that.

I texted her the same day she left, yesterday she texted "can i see you this week?" and she's coming over on Friday.

This sounds like the beginning of the dryest relationship I've ever heard of.

Jfc, "didnt respond to me fast enough" and no red flags came up? You will eventually realize all chicks are crazy, just to what degree- you'll bump this thread one day with the typical "misc was right."

Cringe at the entire mental sorrow after 6 dates. I need to go lift now.

That’s not why. She met someone else or wasn’t feeling it. Trust me I’ve had it every way you can think of. Most of these American girls are born with more than a lot of us will ever have and they are just snobs and good at it. I once even got ghosted on Valentine’s Day after 6 months. Like stood the f up and ghosted. They all do it for safety reasons.

Figured I’d give you guys an update.

She ended things with me last Tuesday. She said she was confused, feels like “something’s off/not right”, has anxiety around meeting my friends when she shouldn’t, etc. In reality, I think somewhere the last few weeks she lost attraction for me and couldn’t get it back.

She kept saying “do you have any questions” and I was like “no, not right now”. And she said I could text her if I do, and maybe we could meet up again to talk about it. lol

I was very surprised by it all. We had our last date the Sunday before (one she initiated out of the blue) and I did notice a couple odd things - she never initiated a kiss (where she did previously, even on the most recent date) and while we were eating dinner, her body language (which is usually pointed directly at me) was straight ahead (we were sitting at a bar). But she did initiate hand holding on the way back to the car.

The Friday before she invited me to meet her best friend (the first guy she’s introduced to her friends) and it went great - her friend even suggested hanging out again in the future. Then she spent that night at my house and we banged in the AM before she left.

She sent me a text Wednesday saying she’s thankful for the 4 months (that’s how long we dated), I’m the first guy she developed real feelings for in 5 years (that’s how long she’s been single), and I “mean a lot to her” blah blah blah. Her birthday was Friday (2 days later) and I went back and forth on whether to send her a bday text. I decided to do it.

I’m now 1 week into NC. I want to thank the RH (specifically Ninshark and Zackad) along the way - without you guys I wouldn’t have reconnected with her. It was a great 2 months we had after our first breakup.
