Trust me I know all about self preservation, I’m the victim of it on a daily basis? In other news? Whilst I do understand self preservation? What I do not understand is how a person who has a job can expect others to abide by the law their job is predicated on and not do the same. Moreover? I can’t understand how there is a government that could allow it tj go on.

To people not understanding how this could work. Cryptos like bitcoin use blockchain technology to create an immutable public ledger. This information cannot be altered because each new 'block' builds upon the existing ones, making the entire chain more concrete and unfalsifiable as each new block is added. This leaves a continuous chain that continues to verify the existence of the original message, and each time a new block is 'mined'/verified/cryptographically solved it further confirms the previous information. So basically, you could write '*******' on the first block and each block afterwards build onto the chain starting with '*******'. The creator of bitcoin put the message ' "The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks.' on the first block as additional information to verify the date it was created.

An NFT is a non-fungible token, basically making information into a crypto, though I don't know the exact specifics like I know about bitcoin's functionality. Basically you can turn artwork, books, writing, etc. into a NFT that can be purchased as an asset, and all details of the purchase and your ownership etc. are publicly verifiable.

Anyways, it's a confusing way of saying that information on a blockchain cannot be altered, which is how cryptos function in the first place, as each block contains the details of transactions, and 'miners' are people who create new blocks using their computing power to solve complex mathematical problems necessary to unlock the next step. In exchange for using their computing power to continue powering the existence of the blockchain, they receive the reward of 'bitcoin' which can be sold for money. This simplified explanation may actually be more confusing, idk.

Anyways, in. Though Mcafee was a very strange and controversial figure, honestly wouldn't be surprised if he had a chit ton of dirt on people. It will of course be pushed aside as a conspiracy theory like the Hunter Biden laptop getting zero real attention, but no doubt there will be plenty of true crumbs of info assuming it's not just a publicity stunt.
