Do you know how weird it is for companies to celebrate pride/lgbt?

Its fckn weird. You're talking about celebrating a sexual preference of people. You legit have companies celebrating the fact that a small minority of people enjoy having sex a certain way. Youre celebrating literally, a kink.


Its fckn weird. Why is sex even in in the workplace ? If someone came up to me at work and said they were gay I'd fckn report them to HR. I don't want to know peoples sexual preference at work.

Oddly i was thinking the same thing today. Whats weird is how few % of the public is gay ...yet there is basically a national holiday for their...sex lives?

My real thought however was PRIDE corporatization if you will is something that kindda gave all other groups the heads up that they could accomplish power via small representation....now you see that same thing with BLM, Asian month, etc.

The payoff is huge relative to the size of the group.

One time I asked a real live lesbian what PRIDE was all about (was it a celebration of debauchery? of acceptance? etc.).

She told me it was akin to not being made to feel like an outcaste and if you are a gay you should have pride to accept yourself.

However, that left me the lingering question that the people (like me) who accept gays never had a problem with them and those who don't will always likely have a problem with them....so I don't know how much of a measurable success it is outside of corporatization of it (meaning on a personal vs. commercial scope).

OP it's because at a certain point people who are of a mostly homosexual orientation realise that they are different, and don't fit the mould of what society expects of a man or a women, and a lot of the time, these people send to be quite clever and strive for positions that hold power, after which point they can go ahead and make the system more comfortable for other, like-minded people.

Why should anyone be proud?

Our country is all about pride. National pride, racial pride, pride in your work, pride in your religion and traditions, pride in your achievements.

The new generations of people get brought up and conditioned in schools and faculties that lgbtqi stuff is good and should be accepted. So it's just logical that businesses follow the same strategy to spew the same propaganda in order to make more profit.
