I'm pro vax but completely understand why people at practically zero risk aren't rushing out to get one. If a 83 yr old with heart issues is unvaccinated and dies of Covid, it's their own fault, not the fault of unvaccinated 30 yr olds.

You do realize the vaccine isn't a 100% guarantee right? And that those (also 30 yo's) that get it have a ~90% (depending on vax) reduction in infection rates and thus less likely able to transmit it?

Well why would a 30 year old with 0 heart problems, and a 0.0% chance of having myocarditis, get a vaccine that comes with a 0.5% risk of getting myocarditis. I’d rather stick with the 0% than increase my chances by half a percent - or any percentage.

My skatepark remained opened during the whole pandemic and lock downs and I hosted skated sessions all the time.

I also rented a shop where I built an indoor skate park and had indoor gatherings all the time too.

The 90-95% number is RELATIVE RISK.

The ACTUAL risk reduction (ABSOLUTE RISK) is 0.7-1.3%
