I don't think you are a loser. It is just a human tendencyency to look for a group to belong in. I learn about this phenomenon in a psych book.
I see what you are trying to say, but I disagree with calling average people "losers". There is a reason college classes are graded on a curve. You are not a loser if you don't get an A+, but you are just not that smarter/diligent than most of your peers.
The same idea applies when people call people losers for not being millionaires. It is kind of ridiculous.

Yes, politics are a way for people to find their ingroup and to potentially antagonize an outgroup, but it's natural. That is why I am mad at white nationalists.

It’s mostly just rich people fighting over who can divert government money over to their friends. Contracts, projects, charities, subsidies, gov funded organizations, etc, they all basically just provide cover for transfer of funds. And regulatory influence is just another indirect way to push money in one direction or another. Politicians are usually either buying votes or otherwise rewarding their friends for support.

I agree, I think it’s stupid to worship any political party. But I still believe that in a two party system you absolutely must vote for the side that best represents your beliefs. Being a swing voter means you just don’t understand the system or haven’t matured your beliefs regarding political concepts/issues.

You can throw your vote away to a third party or you can autistically write your own name in the ballot. The only real change you can make is through culture, which the big tech companies and universities are mogging on. The alternative is revolution, which is apparently synonymous with insurrection these days.

I have been apolitical my whole life and when I do vote I look at the policies presented - not the person, not the party, none of that.

It helps you see things rather then be blinded by disagreeing with the other candidate simply because their the opposite party.

That problem is why we have Joe Biden, a guy who only got voted in because people hated a guy, not because they actually respect of agree with his policies.
