Daily RSI on a bunch of chit has been sitting above 70 RSI for a while. Feels like it could pop at any moment. They might justify it with another poor jobs report or something else like delta variant

nice, mirin.

This thread used to be really good, but once the meme stocks started happening it got flooded with reddit users chit talking and became less of a place of discussion, and now with the updates and people soured on the annoying reddit ****s there's not enough traffic.

Our company is about to announce the Green Diesel project worth around $500mill, to avoid RINS. Most Big Oil's money goes to buying those RINS! Or at least here in the Gulf South.

Yes sir. In a nutshell: We will process recycled animal fats, used cooking oil and inedible corn oil into renewable diesel fuel. Vs. Crude Oil.

Our site is building a canola hydrofiner. Uses some sort of canola alginate through some process for bio-diesel.

Seems to be the hot new thing. I think there's new regulations coming through for the Clean Fuel Standard that's pushing all this.

do you guys keep a certain percentage of cash purchasing power available on your trade accts? I've been wondering whether it makes any sense to keep cash ready for a good buy or just invest everything i have in my acct...

I mean, you should have like 20% cash, but I don't.

market is on fire, so I'm like 95% invested RN.

any new cash I deposit is going to cash for now, and also I plan to sell off some of my massive positions if they hit targets, and hold them as cash for a potential drop.

we shall see.

Sounds like Saudi Arabia wants to remain conservative with the Delta variant out there but Russia is pushing for more output, should be interesting

I still debate it.

I started keeping about 5-10% cash on hand for those quick buys. Liking the strategy so far. It's paid off in the last couple months. I follow trends/news and might have a tip for a good buy vs standard returns for everything else. Does that pay off in the long run? Pretty debatable.

Depends on where the market is at. When tech dumped, I put 100% in. Now my main account value is about $214k total with 36k cash. Always good to keep some ammo in case things dip.

I never keep more than around $5k in cash in my bank account (srs). If I ever need more cash than that, I'll sell some stocks (either something long-term that is up, or something with a short-term loss to offset short-term gains)

My biggest mistake of 2020 was keeping too much cash rather than just having it all invested... even just having it in VOO would have been better than holding onto it. Studies also show that lump sum investing beats dollar cost averaging (on average)... I'm a believer in investing money as soon as I get it

I'm still fairly new to trading so maybe this doesn't apply here but in general, putting 100% of your money into anything is not smart.

I have a margin account, I swing trade and I gamble so I always have a lot of cash.

I have 0 worry of a market crash, I actually pray for it.

Then I prey on it lol.
