Bought a game called ‘Last Epoch’ on steam today. It’s in early access and will be getting a full release this year.

Game is a mix between Diablo and PoE, very good so far! Going through as a mage and the gameplay is very good along with graphics and character building.

It’s on steam with 20% off

Bought a few games off steam,

But currently hitting my backlog on PS5 .... Started playing Tales of Berseria and it's not bad so far ... Kinda digging it, anime cringe a plenty, but it's aight.

Started Gears of War tactics as well since I got in the steam sale .... Definitely digging it, and is a much nicer pace from the mainline game .... This is what this franchise needs. The mainline games needs to fuk off and die away so coalition can work on something new, but they can continue with the Tactics series. I know I'll probably get bored of the gameplay loop eventually especially if it's a long ass game, but this is exactly the change and breath of fresh air the series needed.

Tactics was great, could have done with more variety in locations though.

Have you Xbox'ers ever checked Defence Grid 1 and 2 (both available for One)?

Brilliant and extensive tower defence games. The sequel has difficulty levels and tower items/upgrades, so you can make it as hard or easy as you want.

Just finished Trails of Cold Steel III, just in time for the steam sale 20% off for IV. I'm such a completionist whore these games take me awhile lol. Put in 125 hours in a month although some of that might have just been afk time.

I want to get into the Tales of series but the combat gameplay has kinda put me off. I tried Tales of Destiny but I quit like 3-4 hours in lol, but I realize now that probably isn't the best place to start off, no is it even considered one of the best games. Plus it's old. I bought Berseria/Vesperia/Symponia/Zestiria as a package I think when it went on sale. I can deal with anime cringe/tropes as long as the story/music/combat/gameplay is decent. Lemme know you're full thoughts when you get through more of it. I may start with that one or Vesperia just to get into the series.

Also I don't know how you *******s can play like 5 games at the same time lol. If I am truly enjoying a game, I want to play that specific game only because I'm having fun and part of that is the anticipation of what happens next. I can understand maybe if it was something like switching between an FPS with the bros and a single player. But god damn lol. It might also be gaming OCD on my part, like I gotta finish this one game before moving onto the next.

Gotten to the third area, so some of the game has opened up .... The characters are fun and the story is interesting so far, but that's really it imo ... The combat seems simple, but at the same time pretty deep and there was quite a bit of mechanics and stuff thrown my way which I'm still trying to get my head around. I'm playing on medium, so it's really button mashey atm and encounters are constant and a bit too much imo, makes going through straight line dungeons a bit of a pain especially when you have to go back and forth between locations ... Though I imagine at higher difficulties you really need to master the mechanics and stuff to really enjoy the combat .... But after coming from Persona 5 or FF7 Remake, this combat system is kinda meh esp at my difficulty but I dont want to make the game harder tbh and some of the controls are a bit clunky like switching out players and stuff ... Pretty much the only thing holding it together is just the story and characters, not sure if I may end up finishing it, but it's an alright game ..... I got it at a sale for like 15-20 bucks so i'm not too bothered. The visuals are a dogchit though, it looks like a ps3 game and even kinda seems to play like one lol.

Overall decent if you get it for a cheap price and have nothing else to play / wanna try out a different game ... But just temper your expectations of it.

I am kinda keen on Tales of Arise though ... The graphics and presentation seem like a generational leap over Berseria.

I juggle games occasionally ... I only really play one game at a time if I'm super into it .. But luckily these days my OCD to finish games has completely gone. I'm less worried about finishing games or feeling pressured to do it and more about enjoying myself.... If I dont vibe with a game i'll drop it without ragrets and I love trying out new games, so it's just a matter of finding out which game I end up liking.

One of those dead periods in gaming for me. Playing old games casually currently like gunfire reborn and hearthstone. Just waiting for D2 to get here. I'll probably give that korean MMO a go though I'm not sure a grinder will keep my interest.

Gunfire is really a hidden gem of a game. It was good before the latest patch, but they made it great. It will be an all time classic if they add an infinite wave system for once you finish a run successfully.

Have my Series X up and running. I'll say as a PS4 owner coming into Xbox... Gamepass will have my busy for a while.

Downloaded Halo 5, Gears 5, Man Eater for the lulz, State of Decay 2, Ori, Shadow Warrior 2, and Hellblade.

The system is super quiet which I appreciate after the PS4 and the jet engine sounds it would make when running games like Warzone.

Oh don't get me wrong. This is primarily a me issue. I'm coming off two other games with much more realistic (slower) combat. It's taking some time to get used to all the movement. What I was primarily commenting about is the mounted combat and riding. I dislike having to use accelerate/decelerate buttons, instead of just moving the mount like I would my own character.

I couldn't help it, and I bought Deedlit in Wonder Labyrinth and Katana Zero. I just love pretty pixel art.
I'm also playing through the demo for The Signal State, it's mathy. I'm probably going to buy it when it comes out, unless the plot turns out to be some progressive chit and sours my puzzling experience.

Bought Dragon Quest 11 on a whim, never played a dragon quest game before I saw that this got good reviews ....... What a neat little title srs. I'm already kinda hooked into it, turn based combat which is awesome and the game's already made a great impression so far ... Graphics/art-style is really nice, it's actually quite a looker imo, though some faces are a bit wonky. Story has me interested, the map is big, but in a good way since the game actually gives you good loot for exploring. The only issue is the inability to save anywhere as you need to go to specific points in the map to save.

But overall its pretty much "good vibes" the game. Pretty much dropping Tales of Berseria so I can play this instead.

Total war three kingdoms might unironically be the best in the series. And this is coming from someone who's been playing since Midieval 1.

tnx mane it was done with mouse. my aim is not that great but what I love about this this game is that you can compensate the lack of gifted aim with better positioning.

So I'm about 40% through Cyberpunk 2077. I got it off CDkeys for about twenty bucks, and am content with the purchase. So far what I've noticed as a master race pc gamer:

- 10/10 graphics
- 8.5/10 story
- 9/10 interface/quest-log/character leveling
- 10/10 character customization
- 10/10 effort for lore

EVERY OTHER ELEMENT OF THE GAME IS A 1/10 (OR A 2/10 IF BEING GENEROUS)

- This has the worst aim mechanics of any first person shooter since the PS2 era.
- Crafting is there. And completely unnecessary. Haven't touched it once
- The punching, shooting, throwing things, and knife/swordplay element are all poorly designed
- Driving is no joke on part with grand theft auto 3, or vice city.
- The AI for other cars & pedestrians is extra-ordinarily simple. No reactions, no running away, nothing. As robotic as it gets.
So both the fps elements and the rpg elements are just really underserved. Stealth is a mixed bag - maybe that's the one thing that gets a 5/10.

And finally, the bugs. This game has received 23 patches & updates. Regardless, on pc there are still bugs (mostly things like being unable to pick up a dropped item despite it registering as dropped). But the graphical glitches are still enormous. NPC's will teleport out of nowhere and "walk" without moving their legs. I've seen cars collide and one car will immediately fly vertically into outerspace. To be fair, a lot of the glitches are fukking hilarious, and I've laughed out loud at a couple - there's compilations of people on youtube also laughing at them.

This game is worthwhile in its current state if you're only paying like $20. The absolute best thing you can do is literally wait a year or more - buy it in 2023 or 2024 and you'll likely get a much better experience at a nice discounted price.
