That and a lot of pictures of bleeding testicles, giant mutant cocks rhino spearing Pfzier guys, some other penises displayed in various improper ways.
I myself don't accept CTs until a sufficient amount of evidence comes to light, and a lot of theories have been shared here, but at the end of the day - nobody is going to argue the morality of these companies, nobody showed in any way that the testing was adequate and nobody showed me why anyone healthy needs it in the first place.
Also a lot of good alternative voices being unfairly silenced by youtube/twitter/tech here. Some on the wacky side, many actually very credible, with all getting treated the same and silenced. You do that, you stomp free speech, you demand only a single (profitable) narrative and you WILL get conspiracies and alternative ideas coming out of the woodworks, that's how it works. Often, many have some credibility, too. I don't even blame the people spreading them, I blame the media and tech for forcing it.
If they just let us talk about this openly, including Doctors, experts, ex-****ing-pfizer executives, the creator of mRNA vaccines, if they could just open a dialogue and exchange ideas in an open forum without censoring -- we wouldn't have to rely on outside channels.

I do think OP wanted to accomplish a noble goal, but I also think his methods, hyperbole and confirmation bias (along with other possible biases) made the substantive content harder to ever see. It was vailed with a good amount of silly, nonsensical scare tactics that really bordered on the insane. That is a shame, because laced in the lunacy was some really powerful stuff.
Combined with his antisemitic and racist posts, it wasn't meant to be.
The drawings were, honestly, pretty fun all said and done.

IMO, these vaccines more and more are known to stress people's bodies in various bad ways. She might have been on the edge of some kind of illness already and bad luck coupled with a bad vaccine pushed her over.
I won't pretend to know for sure any of this, but part of me suspects people reaction differently to this, it might have to do with whether the shot stays localized (as we were all promised and assured was the TrustTheScience case) or spreads around your body (as we're finding out now, despite being previously aggressively attacked for thinking it even possible, it is happening).
In her case, could be nothing. She might have been destined to have that stroke. Yet, what a coincidence. Maybe it was a combination, health declining already in that direction, the vaccine shot spreading around in unlucky ways and tipping the scales to that stroke.

As you said, perhaps she was already on the brink and this was just the straw that broke the camel's back. Very tough to say.

I posted that here because I'm being honest and sharing an anecdote. I very well could have said nothing, but here I am. I'm not going to lie to protect my opinions.
"very likely"... I don't believe that... I would call it a possibility.

What does concern me, more than one story like yours (or take your pick throughout this thread), it's not the single story of someone getting vaccinated and then getting sick. Who knows, right? Were they destined to get sick/die? Did the vaccine simply contribute? Did the vaccine have zero impact? With the individual stories, it can go in any direction.
I do think the aggregation of stories, when looked at as a whole, start to point in certain directions. When you got a lot of people having issues, the media desperately censoring/silencing it - to me the people who are not skeptical are the ones on the wrong side of it (and, btw, not you AdamWW, you've come around and like you said, I don't think there is a major difference in our opinions).
While here -
Does anyone have any definitive numbers about the delta variant?
a) what is the breakdown of those being infected (non-vaccinated vs vaccinated)? I hear broadly different claims (unsourced, of course)
b) how about those previously infected? How is 'delta' affecting them? Are they getting re-infected, dying or recovering faster/slower?
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

"Would I feel differently (more concerned about the vaccines) if my friend/parent/loved on has a serious reaction or complication immediately after taking it?"
Honestly.. the answer is yes.
All-to-often - and I am guilty of this as well - we never really weigh the possibilities or severity until it hits home.
Ive had to reflect on a lot of these things in precent months and it has helped me keep an open mind.

Delta is way less 'deadly', if you can even call it that with a straight face, than the questionably deadly alpha-whatever-covid. We're talking, far beneath even seasonal flus.
So, rather than asking how the vaccines stack up against this mutation, a better attitude is: Who gives a single flying fuk? Nobody who doesn't have one foot in the grave needs to be concerned here. Fuk the delta variant, it should be a complete non-factor in anyone's lives UNLESS it is to say how it's good that whatever Covid was has mutated into a joke and we can all stop caring immediately.

Most people who get covid barely even know it. Almost noone who isn't already dying dies from covid, even going off the official numbers (which, to me just looks like people who were ripe to die anyway, got covid and did die, so they said it was covid).
I do know people who weren't super at risk who had a rougher time of it, by people I mean one man. If you do get it, be smart, quarantine yourself away from people and keep a watchful eye on things. If you have trouble breathing, immediately go to the ER. If they are even still fuking around with ventilators, do not allow them to hook you up to one, just ask for oxygen.
Your odds are 99.99% of recovery. I don't think the long effects are as big a deal as some make them out, either. I hear these, "I know a guy who" stories of some marathon running vegan in perfect health with them, but I've never seen it first hand. Who knows.
In my case, and the case of all but two people, sniffles and feeling tired for a week and a half. You lose your sense of smell for a few days. One person (who wasn't unhealthy and in his 30s) needed to go to the ER but I think he was jumping the gun a little (hey better safe than sorry). I know another man, 85 years old, had a rough time of it, was in hospital for a week, eventual full recovery. Would have died if he had not gone to ER, though.
Once you get it, you're pretty much done. There will have to be a lot of mutations to bypass your t-cell memory of it and looking at delta, and the usual trajectory, it just gets milder and milder.

"Results
Ten RCTs (n=1173) were included. Controls were standard of care [SOC] in five RCTs and placebo in five RCTs. COVID-19 disease severity was mild in 8 RCTs, moderate in one RCT, and mild and moderate in one RCT. IVM did not reduce all-cause mortality vs. controls (RR 0.37, 95%CI 0.12 to 1.13, very low QoE) or LOS vs. controls (MD 0.72 days, 95%CI −0.86 to 2.29, very low QoE). AEs, severe AE and viral clearance were similar between IVM and controls (all outcomes: low QoE). Subgroups by severity of COVID-19 or RoB were mostly consistent with main analyses; all-cause mortality in three RCTs at high RoB was reduced with IVM.
Conclusions
In comparison to SOC or placebo, IVM did not reduce all-cause mortality, length of stay or viral clearance in RCTs in COVID-19 patients with mostly mild disease. IVM did not have an effect on AEs or severe AEs. IVM is not a viable option to treat COVID-19 patients."

I didn't conduct the systematic review, just shared the link. "For your own good" so far appears to be equivalent to a placebo.
