Montreal NEEDED to win that game. I always though Pricey was gonna have to steal 1 for the Canadiens for them to win the cup, with losing that game, one they SHOULD have one and didnt really need him at his best, I definitely thing he will need to probably steal 2

1st post since the VGK let me down last series. Not too surprised with how the series is going. Lightning have the most talent on a team that I can remember.

They've been highly disappointing. Can't wait for Stanly Cup Finals 2022 when the Rangers begin their next era of dominance.

Tampa probably takes it tonight. Was pulling for the MTL cinderella. I think Kuch will get MVP, but I think Point deserves it more tbh. I also think Price should get some nods, I don't think he deserves to win, but he was an absolute BEAST for MTL to even get that far. Its going to be a real shame if he never gets a cup.

I have been a huge Josh Anderson guy after his presser before the Toronto series. Dude was oozing with confidence. That stick lift on the way to the OTGWG last night was pretty alpha.

Aside from the format getting them into the playoffs in the first place, they earned their place in the finals. They went through 2 teams that "deserved" to be there more. Sure Toronto chokes every year, but 99.9% of people would have had them in the finals over the Habs. Same with Vegas. Vegas was a legit cup contender, who had just beaten one of the cup favorites. Montreal didn't have an incredibly easy route to the finals.

I don't like how the playoffs are formatted in general though. Wish they would do away with the division thing and just seed the conferences 1-8. Each round highest seed plays the lowest remaining seed.

This is my opinion on it tbh.

Habs beat 2 legit strong teams in 7 game series.

Sucks for the NHL trying to pull in a casual viewer of the SCF though, I think that is where an issue is, but id say Montreal earned where they are by playing through
