Does anyone else feel like fat people are incompetent?

Every fat person I run into seems to be cotdayum slow/dumb or some chit.

Fat chick at the dentist had no idea how to use their 3D imaging scanner. She said I was her first time. I told her maybe she should practice in the mirror or something, and she just Bert stared me like practice isn’t a thing.

I fukkin swear fat people tend to be retarded. Maybe just my bias?

I actually have an eating disorder and used to be huge. I am like an alcoholic, but I eat instead.

I went to therapy and figured it all out, and what my triggers are and have mostly gotten a hold of it, but it isnt always easy.

Fat people are ridiculous. Whilst some of them have natural talents and abilities, there's something rather preposterous and clown-like about a fat person.

It seems as though fat people either have extremely high likeability or low with no in-between. A fat person who is friendly and fun is extra likeable, but a fat person who is cold and curmudgeonly is extra aggravating.

we naturally have a bias to view fat people as stupider, presumably because it shows a lack of discipline/poor decision making to be obese.

the previous Director at work always looked stupid to me just because he was legit about 350-400 pounds. I just can't take a guy so morbidly obese seriously (srs).

It's your bias and sporadic confirmation bias (like your example) OP. There is something to be said about the stupidity of overeating but it's no different than many other illogical addictions/habits like gambling, substance abuse etc. Plenty of highly intelligent & competent addicts out there that need to get out of their rut.

I don’t mean that all fatties are incompetent, but it does seem like there’s a trend. Maybe it’s more likely.

Did better in college?

Has a better job? House? Car?

You drink and he doesn’t?

You use tobacco and he doesn’t?

Are you still just cherry-picking that one issue even though that person is objectively better than you in every other way?

Everybody has their issues. Some people’s are just easier to spot than others.

I met a old fat woman at a park we both go to almost daily in summer last year and I see her from time to time and she talks to me but all she talks about is the junk food she eats at McDonalds almost every day and she says things like "I could make it at home but it's so much cheaper at McDonalds it would be stupid to make it myself" and "I'd like to be healthier but it's not like we control these things".
