It's fine to have times in your life when you don't workout but it's a slippery slope if you don't have that as a part of your life. Ten or twenty pounds is nothing but years go by and it becomes 30..40..50lbs. It's just better to be proactive with all that stuff. Not saying that anyone can't take time off with small kids but eventually you want to get back to it.

Wife wanted a bigger home. I told her she would have to work if we took it on. Daughter goes to a 1000 dollar a month daycare. Its basically school. She's doing really well she will be better adjusted when she starts regular school.

With my wife working full time and then giving all her free time to my daughter I'm not going to bother her right now about working going to the gym. She's an incredible mother.

Bro i get what your saying but my salary wouldn't be enough to cover us both. Unfortunately in this age majority of both parents have to work just how it is. The house we are moving to is to get my daughter into a better school system and its five minutes from my daughters day care. We are out of space in the location we are in now.

We give my daughter a good life.

Or at the very least just don't eat so much even if you don't exercise. But even still I've noticed this generation especially has horrible time management skills or even just simple awareness of their personal schedules. "No time to exercise" but they will always stay current on Netflix/Hulu series. People order pizza and pay $10/meal for meal delivery services because they "don't have time to cook." They don't make any effort to study up on ways to be efficient in the kitchen, or even use Crock Pots and InstantPots. Like someone said already if a woman doesn't workout she WILL become obese,

the alternative is becoming skinny-fat like both my sisters.

I've known a few couples that when they got married said they were not going to let themselves go. And that happened. The couples are still in shape looking healthy after all these years.
