this is a hard list to do cause my all time favorite bond movie "goldfinger" was sean connery

but my list as as followed"
1. roger moore.
2. sean connery
3.iforget his name but the guy playing him now, i could have googled it but hell i forget why make it look like i didnt
4..pierce bronson.
5.timothy dalton
6. george lazenby
7. david nivin for the spoof. but they originated him or james mason before connery

Casino Royale and Goldfinger are my 2 favorite bond movies so I'll go with Connery and Craig for the top spots.

Brosnan is the bond of my childhood and who comes to mind if I see the name James Bond, but other than Goldeneye his movies kinda sucked.

Only saw a handful of the other movies actors' movies and don't really have strong preferences.

Brosnan - best = World is not enough, worst = TND
Moore - best = Man with the golden gun, worst = AVTAK
Connery - best = Goldfinger, worst = DAF (I dont include NSNA in the consideration, if I did, that would be worst)
Dalton - best = Licence to Kill, worst = TLD

Sean Connery and it’s not even close. After that, it depends on your own experience with the movies. I grew up with Brosnan, so that has nostalgic appeal (what 30-40 year old didn’t play Goldeneye?) Roger Moore and Daniel Craig played it very differently, and in a very different context, so it’s hard to compare them.

Like I said, unpopular opinion!

Dont get me wrong, I liked Casino Royale a lot- it was a Fleming story, which is a huge plus, and was pretty faithful to this story even down to the torture scene. But Quantum of Solace was like a work of art- particularly visually, and it has great flow. I thought it was directed masterfully (and yet a lot of people find this to be the movie's fault, oddly)....but just consider scenes like that opera scene...

In my opinion with the craig films, its Quantum and Casino............then wayyyyy below, are Spectre, then Skyfall (the home-alone joke of a bond movie that was trying to be way too "deep" into Bond's (and the villain's) background and character, with a somewhat annoying Q to boot).

The Craig ones were really excellent and much better than most Bond films. But Roger Moore was probably the best Bond overall. When I think of James Bond, it's either him or Sean Connery.
