Was getting worried I was gonna lose some money on the shorts but its finally following the chart again. It triple topped which it almost never does before real tea came in. Could probably see 33k again, maybe lower if stocks dump like they should.

Now that Chyna fud is real. It will probably have a bigger implication on the market then we know. Im guessing they make up close to 30-40% of the overall market cap and they will be going away and we would need someone to inject 1 trillion to make up there loss. Also have the largest hash rate drop ever that needs to be accounted for.

Whales are getting bipolar as fuark. Before they would pump or dump for about 3 days now they’re swapping multiple times a day between the two

90 day chart looks awful. BTC looking like it wants to fall of a cliff (that 30k to 32k floor) and we all know what that’ll do to alts. Still 100% in cash, no way in fuk I’d buy in now.

As humans, we all suffer from recency bias. Fact that BTC has been dropping for the past three months, down 56% from almost $65k to below $29k, makes it difficult to imagine it still hits the six figure highs that we were expecting this bull cycle. However, I was looking at the July lows before the run in the second half of the year to the peaks of the previous two bull runs and we may still very well be on track to hit those new ATH's later this year or early next year. If you look at the charts/levels during the last July leading up to those massive bull runs, things looked just as abysmal as they do today.

APR 2013 High - $260
JUL 2013 Low - $63 (-75%)
NOV 203 High - $1,163 (+1,746%)

JUN 2017 High - $2,980
JUL 2017 Low - $1,830 (-40%)
DEC 2017 High - $19,665 (+975%)

APR 2021 High - $64,900
JUL 2021 Low - $28,600 (-56%)
END 2021/EARLY 2022 High - Maybe???

Personally, I'm fine with either outcome. Would love for BTC to fall into the teens so I can add more promising alt coins, or run up into the six figures and realize some sweet gains on what I already hold. I would be nervous to not have any stake at this point, though.

nice. i was thinking this was the case when thinking back to how 2017 played out, but it's cool to actually see the numbers. i think many are demoralized by how badly things get pummeled. but sht i remember distinctly how fast things started rolling once the freight train started gaining it's momentum.

alot of the new folks will learn though then they will be prepared for the NEXT bull run. just as people like me were largely spectators of the 2017 bull run. i had some skin in the game but i was new as of sept 2017 and still trying to figure out wtf all this sht was

build a position in something legit and hold. even when your feels are screaming at you with the a sell demand. let the brain handle it

TLDR: could go up, could go down. do whatever the fuk you wanna do.

I'm checking prices every morning just like everyone else. Don't care if my call isn't right, just stating what i'm doing. Everyone gets cocky when it pump back up above 34k, but we have yet to sit above 36k for more than a minute.

I'd rather miss out on 10% total gainz by waiting for us to close comfortably above 36k, than blow my load entering at 33500 and getting crushed.

Same. Especially when i consider the data jaydigital posted about being pulled back over 50% from a previous high while we're still obviously in the middle of the cycle. I'll likely take a small entry into my alts of choice when BTC pulls back under 33.5.

You have a good point here, and if you ask me, crypto.com is going to be the next binance in regards to native currency explosion. Most of us joked about how we'd be millionaires if we held BNB when it used to be $4 and we were throwing them around like they were nothing. Now it's up over $300.

Crypto.com is hellbent on running a legitimate business as far as their public security&compliance blog posts. They're also working on big partnerships. First it was the Formula 1 car, then it was the IIHF World Hockey Championship and now this...

I would not be surprised if at some point over the next year or two, there's some giga AWS, Microsoft, Visa, NFL, etc partnership that sends the coin to Cardano prices.

yeah i have noticed crypto.com's moves as well. i need to dive deeper into what they are doing as well to see if there is any opportunity for me to put in a longer term move somewhere within in their ecosystem.

and the nice reality is that the door is wide the fck open in terms of competition with coinbase. provided that the competitor as the means and business acumen. it's actually part of the reason why coinbase's stock price hasnt gone parabolic.

.
You would be wise to. Start of the last thread was around august 2020. I distinctly remember some posters talking about "SXP chads" being earlier adopters of the SWIPE crypto card. During that same time, Binance released their debit card, then they were doing those stake pools, and then they release the binance smart chain in september. Here is the price of BNB in mid august, look what it turned into...

Took about 7 months for their blockchain eco system to build out before it absolutely exploded. CRO mainnet went live end of March this year... Crypto.com was a joke in 2020, but I think it's time to start taking them seriously. I'm going to start stockpiling.

Binance is big because of the degen chit it offers not because of debit cards. When you can start doing 100X leveraging and options on a US exchange then invest in its platform coin. Derivatives market is much bigger then spot but it’s banned in the US and other countries like Canada and UK just moved to ban it

I hate the internet because of the bolded. You can say the sky is blue, and there will be that one person that comes out of the wood work to say "AckShuALLy it's clear but the blue is the result of sunlight scattering air particles etc. etc."

I in no way shape or form meant to insinuate BNB was big from debit cards. I only mentioned Swipe because that was around the time I noticed Binance rolling out a bunch of features that weren't around in 2017. Which is to say they aren't some simple exchange like kucoin or poloniex, but rather created an entire eco system of products and services (like crypto.com is doing now). As a matter of fact, I don't even think the derivatives offering is the result of their success either because other platforms offer that too. Its the offerings built on their BSC that acted as an alternative to the more expensive ethereum ones. SushiSwap vs PancakeSwap for example.

I'm definitely getting antsy, waiting to buy back in and buy more. Long term I'm feeling better than ever about BTC, just waiting for the right moment. Anyone else feel the same? I had buys at 25K but I'm getting impatient af.

This has been the last two pages of conversation really. If you're really feeling impatient just buy in to whatever projects you like, then set a stop-limit sell order at a price 5% below your buy in price. That way you wont get giga-rekt by some weird 4am in the morning, chinese market dump.

Spot

Binance does 5X more daily volume then the second place guy on derivatives daily. It does about as much as the top 10 exchanges combined. Its daily derivative volume is more than basically the top 50 Spot exchanges combined so it is a huge fuarking deal. PCS and DEXes are irrelevant in the grand scheme since it does less than 1 billion daily volume. Binance has high liquidity, huge coin selection, and high leverage options. The bigger it becomes the more people will use it as well so it just becomes bigger and bigger. Crypto.com offers none of those things and won't for anytime in the near future
