You are happier because you are working for yourself, not because it is a passion. Nobody is passionate about online transactions and customer service, but people are happier in general working outside of corporate structures. Again, chasing passions is poor people cope.

I support your decision OP. Most people don't make it because they don't take risks and cope with their 'comfy' job. If you work at something and grind and don't give up, you'll make it srs.

Just know when to cut losses and move on to the next idea. Most people you see that are influential or have built businesses, have 100+ failures.

I feel like you dun goofed opie. Was your job situation soul-sucking and making you depressed? Why not make bank and come up with a plan while doing so? I wouldn't deliberately stop making money to come up with a business idea, I'd brainstorm while I'm earning money from working for somebody else.

I support quitting a job you don't enjoy or don't see yourself moving anywhere in, but I also think it's smart to have a bank roll and side hustle lined up to help while looking for new work. Nothing dumber than spending your life making ok money at a job you hate. If I'm going to hate my job at least pay me well and even then you can only take so much before you just feel like walking out.

Computer science atleast interests me more and would allow me to do more creative work, problem-solving, more freedom at the job, etc. I was doing admin works where it was tedious detail chit and attending dozens of pointless meetings a week which isn't really suited to me. That’s what I’d tried to do and it would have worked out for me great until National security intervened and... recruiting.

Still though, I’d just devised a marketing plan and put it into motion with the things I’d liked. Women and clothing and gym... I’d brought so many people here and developed so much clout so quickly I had President Putin joining this ish for me. International style. However, I’d muddied it a great deal by multiple efforts all at once so it wasn’t as straightforward as it could have been... guess uhh.. there was purpose to it and I was never going tj get out of it at all. Not that I’m complaining, as I know where this ends. However, contract no pay until completion and Apple? Damn. Well it is what it is turned out I guess to be best for everyone in the end yet. It has and still is rough... I’d never imagined it would end up here to be honest. I was just like, well I have tj do something on my own as 80 doesn’t work for me so? Gather round ninjas I call the plays huddle up🍎.

It would seem to be to me that it makes sense that if you want to break business as usual? And the monotony of the ladder? You can’t do it from the bottom of the ladder. Going to a college with the most military connections of anywhere likely helps somewhat to. Or at least?

I've quit my job to great benefit, many times. Usually had a plan, though.

Do you really wanna get into standup?Everyonehas like, 5 podcasts, skits on YouTube, etc. Have you ever done standup before? If not, get ready to bomb for a few years until you find your footing. And find some sort of job that'll hold you over and pay the bills. Comedy is particularly cutthroat right now. People will get their own meal tickets cancelled in hopes of being the next "Stand-Up Applause" seeker.
