But if you must, go to Cattleack bbq in Farmers Branch, the brisket is fkn amazing. Pecan Lodge is the mainstream spot, while its good, the line can be insanely long.

In Ft Worth you should go to Derek Allan's bbq or Heim (great burnt ends)

Heim bbq on Magnolia Ave.

Was amazing. So good we had to rearrange our travel plans back pre-covid to ensure we got back to Fort Worth a night earlier (departure from DFW International - and original plan was to get there the afternoon of our flight) so we could hit it up two more times before we jetted back home.

Was in Dallas not to long ago, Pecan Lodge is the famous spot and its good.

We tried "Meat U Anywhere BBQ" Holy chit mane that place was GOOOOOOD and no stupid tourists taking forever like Pecan Lodge. I make BBQ in a real smoker all the time, and I was impressed. If the BBQ place you go to doesn't have stacks of post oak out back and currently smoking something... skip them.
