Why is there 12 months in a year of random days

when there could be 13 months in a year of exactly 28 days each?

bro for real. have thought about this.

well, i think they've gotten the seasons right BUT have legit thought before about how what if everything we know is wrong. most people just accept it as it is


like i said, i give them the seasons cause that changes the weather.. but what if it's like 371 days is a year instead of 365. or something like that

Yeah but Im asking whoever decided to have 30 days in some months, 31 in others, and 28-29 in February... Like what's the reason it was "meant to be" this way, why didn't they just go 13 x 28?

Because someone somewhere decided on that. Partially because of the moon and partially because someone who was in power hundreds of years ago wanted it that way by adding and subtracting months and accounting for seasons, etc..
