Afraid of sending kids to public school

Got two little nieces running around in the house. One is almost 3. Entire family is dreading sending them to public school. They teach as early as kindergartners about gender fluidity and hormone therapy and that is unacceptable. I don’t want anyone giving her any ideas that she could be a guy because that’s absolute nonsense. And if the kid comes home and says I’m changing genders than the parent is powerless to do anything. This is scary chit ded fkn srs. What clown world do we live in? At this point we are considering private religious schools. I don’t want to have kids in a clown world like this. What happened to the good old days when the parents only concern was if the kid wasn’t understanding long division? BRB gonna rope myself.

The only thing about homeschooling is that we don’t want them at home all days. I think it’s important that kids get out their and socialize with other kids. Builds communication and Social skills. Gonna send them to the full time school at the local mosque. Religious values are really important in this degenerate world.

Well Opie , there are a few options but they all involve different levels of sacrifice from whoever cares for these children..

-enroll them in public school and completely submerge yourself in the PTA and keep your eyes on the curriculum at all times. Keep an open line of communication with the children from a young age (which should happen regardless) so they can convey what some of these liberal pieces of $hit teachers are trying to force on them

-Private school of your choosing... which obviously is going to be a sacrifice out of your wallet first and foremost. But it allows you a choice of what you want them to be taught and when to a certain degree

-Home School , which to be honest is a HUGE commitment and I commend any parent / parents who choose this path. I am not sure how any middle class family with two working parents could effectively pull this off....but I know it happens

I knew a family of three sons (Anthony, Adrian & Andrew) and all three of them were homeschooled and lived next door to me.

They were military brats so, they didn't stay in San Antonio for very long. They would visit and play video games with me back in the Summer of 2006. (good old days)

They would all be (23-24-25 I would imagine) right now and I was a little older than them.

The Mom was weird. She would prevent them from eating/drinking anything over at my house. (HIGH FRUCOSE CORN SYRUP IS BAD!!!!!) The Dad was in the military doing God knows what.

I tried looking them up on ******** and other social media and turned up zero results.

If you live in a nice/conservative area, public school is still decent. If you live in a major city, you're fuked.

this is absolutely #1 reason to hold off on having kids. you have to be well-off and saved up enough to send your kids to private schools

My daughter is in public school and it isnt that bad. Of course i live in a conservative state so they dont push a lot of stuff the liberal schools do. But if they start i will send them to private.

I'm totally against home schooling. Most people i know who were home schooled are socially awkward and can't seem to handle the workplace bc they have never had to interact with other people from different backgrounds. Not all are like this but a lot of them are and the majority of the ones i know are like this. Kids need to be around other kids.

yup, kids are like puppies - you need to expose them to a lot of different kids, adults and environments for them to grow up friendly and outgoing. private school is superior to homeschooling for that reason alone.

doubt home schooling will save your kids either tbh. You not gonna give them a phone too and keep them in the golden ages?

I think good parenting and accepting that humans are humans are the only thing you can do boyo srs. At the very least you can stop your kids from going complete down a complete degenerate path.

That's the future, boyo. Better accept it. Either home school your kids or teach them critical thinking skills from an early age.

What the kids will learn from friends and other kids depends on the type of area you live in and other areas in the district. As far as the teachers curriculum and extra bs, just try to get a sense of the type of person they are. Pray for an older person, if teacher is a SHE, and fresh out of school, good luck lol

That's how they get ya.. When I have kids, I think for sure I am more than capable of giving them a better education than their school, but yeah, school helps them to learn how to socialize etc.. I think one route could be letting them know right off the bat, basically 3/4 of the **** you're going to be taught is bs, just pass and don't worry about getting straight A's.. I will make sure you understand what's important

There are other places besides public school where kids can meet other kids. Plenty of activities, camps, acting/dance school, church etc for kids to communicate, play and learn social skllls.
If you live in an upstate area, public school might not be bad. If you live in a poor area, it's a fukking zoo. You don't ever want to put your kid there. Ded fukkin srs.

I still care about my nieces even tho I don’t have kids of my own. It’s a scary world. I went to public school myself but for some reason I could tell the bullchit apart and wasn’t prone to indoctrination. I just want the best for them like any responsible adult

Home schooled kids = future weirdos lol that lack self awareness and socialization

I dont get why people are reluctant to send their kids to public school. You can only coddle and shelter them so much . Would rather give my kid a dose of real life early on

The only way I'd consider private school for my kid is if I was absolutely loaded money wise and could afford to send them off to some like 50k per year school

Home school? Lol who got time for that . I'll take the free day care and get the people who get paid to teach to do it

i think if the clown world trend continues with the force it currently has we will see a mass exodus from the public schools

if things dont resolve by the time i have kids of age for public school - i'll send them to a private school or homeschool them myself
