I think he meant they can't correctly make complex decisions based on a huge number of inputs and limitations from sensors that would dictate how one would properly react to real world circumstances such as winter weather driving or other people doing batshyt crazy stuff. Imagine driving in wintry conditions at night and someone is speeding and your car decides to try and make a left hand turn in front of them? LMAO

But how do you even advance FSD to the point it can accurately function in the conditions I just described? I'm sure it will happen eventually, but sensor tech gotta catch up and chip tech gotta keep improving to handle ever increasing data flow.

Right now FSD can't even guide you into a proper highway left hand turn without trying to put your passenger side into the grill of whoever is driving by

I just can't fathom how bad people's driving skills will get once they don't have to drive when conditions are good 50-75% of the time. Then when its ugly out they have to try and remember wtf they are doing behind the wheel LOL

I'm just interested in what happens when a deer hops on the road. Is a car gonna do the proper thing and smash tf into it or swerve into a bigass tree and murder the occupants.

But yeah winter driving is always amusing. I am grateful I sit up pretty high so I can usually see what is coming and anticipate a little better.

I don't know that it ever will in extreme conditions. Incorporating lidar would help. But even still it has a long way to go.

Banks are flush with cash. It's an attempt to curb inflation, but we're not getting the full picture. Hurts us and our lines of credit/money we could use to generate capital, for no real reason in my opinion because the fed/big banks are continuing business as usual.


Means higher rates and less liquidity for me, and recipe for a bear market.

Definitely not saying we don't need it, I'm gonna be driving 1,100 km almost nonstop on Thursday and would love if a computer could do it while I sleep and misc. But it seems likely that will remain beyond our capabilities for a long af time

I own a 2014 vehicle with adaptive cruise control and am currently driving a 2021 truck with lane keeping that will actually steer to keep you between lane lines, and I wouldn't even pay extra for either of those right now after using them

I'm completely satisfied with that type of gain though.

Still have my NIO calls though.

Why brag about a measly 9% gain? J/k lol. Your one trade gain just eclipsed a lot of peoples entire port. Nice job.

Curious if you considerd holding a few contracts instead of selling completely? 52 contracts you could have scaled out and held some given the long expiration

I didn't consider that till a few hours after I was done with the position, I'm like damn I should've just kept like 10 of them. I'm catching up on work from the weekend and I'm also on a mini vacation so I didn't have much time to do a lot of critical thinking and analysis so that's why I just make a couple of quick decisions. Either way, I'm perfectly satisfied with my mini gain, and will definitely do another crazy option like this if Tesla goes back down again, low - mid 600's is a juicy spot to buy it at. Cheers brah and hope your portfolio is green today and most of the other days till the end.



Side note: CCL, PLTR, and ZILLOW looking fookin joocy, might have to get in on these today O_O for some shares or If they're down again tomorrow might put 100k of call options into each one. Hmmmmmmm

Weren't they a measily trillion or two?

I guess it was well spent compared to Covid stimulus. Needed something to replace an aging air to ground fight, so it makes more and more sense to have them. We are at least selling them to other countries, might offset some costs.

We just need to keep Honeywell from selling all the avionics data to China...ffs
