Misc Married/LTR Brahs Enter (Birth Control ?'s) (srs) (100k reps)
So the wife and I just had baby #1, and aren't trying to go for #2 anytime soon. Looking for real world input on which BC options are best for reliability, not fukking with her hormones too much, etc. She has never been on BC before, my pullout game is strong (we weren't actively trying but weren't actively NOT trying for this one) but as we all know, pulling out is just the worst, so looking for other options. Reps for koala tea answers.

I totally believe Yaz messed up my wife's sex drive. She went from wanting to throw down every night before getting on it, to barely caring about anything, much less sex. I would steer clear of that one because it almost ruined my marriage. This was a seven year ordeal. I'd research ones which wouldn't mess with her hormones AT ALL.

I would keep your wife away from birth control. All those hormones and crap are just not natural. I hate to say it but we have been using contraceptives, its not the best, but health should be a priority. time to get snipped for me soon though.

the pill/iud are king but both can have hormone changes - note this doesn't mean she will be some sexless zombie but hormones are important and can change mood
condoms have NEVER failed me the only issue is the feeling
theres another way too
a form of male enhancement if you will
that requires no snipping
just your natty card

Pulling out (dead srs). Do not put any of these bs hormones in the mother of your child's body.
There is only a small window when she can get pregnant during the month. Ideally you'd just pull out each time, but if you want to bust inside, just make sure it's clearly outside of her fertile window.
It's really easy not to get a girl pregnant if you know when she's ovulating and you have control over your ejaculation. It's a 100% guaranteed method of not getting her pregnant.
Condoms, stds, birth control, all the rest of it, is a giant hoax to reduce the birth rate.

Conception is a very complex process. It's not just "nut in woman and she'll conceive". The woman's body is subconsciously controlled to allow or disallow it. If she's not stressed out and is ready for a baby with the man fukking her then it's likely.

I'd really, really advise you not to get too happy with your wife in the next 6 weeks...Otherwise baby number 2 will most likely be a Taurus.

What about copper IUD's brahs? Been looking into the different options and it seems that shouldn't have any effect on her hormonal profile. Not quite as effective as the other options, but I would rather have a slightly higher chance of unplanned preggors than have my wife's hormones get all out of whack.

minipill if she can actually take the pill everyday at the same time, headaches and weight gain are usually the worst side effects.
implants like nexplanon work well but the side effects vary wildly for different woman.

OP, if you don't want to go the hormone route there are IUDs that don't have hormones but I've heard they make your periods worse. There's also apps to keep track of her fertile time periods so you could avoid them.

We did birth control pills for years between kids. It was my wife's preference and worked well for us. She didn't feel like she had any side effects. We intended to go with a copper IUD after the last baby. She went in to her 2 month post baby appointment and their were problems getting it inserted properly. She was very uncomfortable for a day and went back and got it removed. She went back on the pill and waited a year for her next annual exam. That time they did an ultrasound guided insertion and it went fine. Insertion problems are rare, but that was her experience.
Advantage of the pill: if you want more kids is you can always just stop taking them. With the IUD you need to get an appointment with the OB. Not a big deal to some, but there it is. Advantage of IUDs: no hormones depending on which kind you get, don't have to mess with pills everyday.

Plus I read somewhere it's hard to get pregnant when your wife's breast feeding regularly so that only makes things easier.
