You *******s mirin my baked ziti?

In honour of the glorious azzurri victory over the britbongs yesterday I decided to cook some good old fashioned pasta al forno. Will rapidly devour this all myself over the next 2-3 days. Das it, paesani.

used a local premium pre-made sauce cause i'm too lazy to let a sauce simmer for 4 hours. added more salt, rosemary, sugar, olive oil, and oregano. meat is 4 hot and 2 mild italian sausages sauteed in oil with with a diced onion.

i'll allow it, not a fan of rosemary but sounds good, sage is also good herb for savoury sauces

sautee sausage (i used 4 spicy and 2 mild italian) and diced onion in pan, add sauce (premade or make it yourself), season to taste with w/e you like (careful not to add too much salt) and let simmer. boil rigatoni (1 full pack/~500 grams) in salted water, cook it less than you normally would by about 2 mins and strain. add sauce to pasta and stir. pour half the pasta back into the pan, layer mozzarella, ricotta, and parmesan generously over top. add second half of pasta and repeat. bake for 30 mins at 375. garnish. inhale.
