How necessary is caffeine in your life? Srs
I drink it nearly every day for the last 5 years, regardless of what I'm doing or if I'm working. It seems like a basic staple of my existence now
Do you feel caffeine is necessary or only extremely preferable in life?
Hard to believe it's a drug that the majority of people are reliant on
Does caffeine mean we should take any drug that helps us get through the day as long as it's not too harmful?

That sleep schedule is probably less healthy but some people don't need a lot of sleep

I take a week off every 2-3 months.
3 days of headaches reminds me of my addiction.
I take in under 200mg a day.

I’ve gone on and off caffeine so many times and the only thing I notice is that life is much more enjoyable on it. Just one cup of coffee in the morning and I just have a better day
I don’t need it, in terms of energy, but the mood improvement I get is worth it.

No caffeine regularly. But when I need a jump might grab an energy drink or even a pre workout, but no more than 2-3 times a week.
And when you have no coffee or caffeine daily, energy drinks and pre workouts seem to have an awesome effect.

Caffeine is the GOAT drug of all time. Average 3-4 cups of coffee a day plus pre-workout on lifting days and the occasional energy drink crew. I do keep my pwo intake down around 200mg though, I don't do the 300+mg/hit pwo chit.

2 energy drinks per day checking in. I don't drink coffee at all, never enjoyed it.
I've gone off caffeine so many times i should probably stay off it next time around, the detox sucks i usually end up just cutting up pills and slowly decreasing the amount over a few weeks. That's when I realize and start to feel like chit over the addiction... when i'm literally cutting up pill doses for the next days lol

Quitting caffeine makes you feel great.
However. I still need it if i don’t get to sleep in and need to go to the gym.
So. If I get to sleep in and wake up naturally. No caffeine.
If I need to force myself to get up early and am feeling sluggish. I have a redbull or something

2 cups of Joe a day, no more preferably (plus PWO on workout days). I don't think that 6+ full mugs a day is healthy. As for these guys who take in 10 mugs....sounds like an addiction or dependency.

200-300mg is my usual day. Try to not drink it after lunchtime though. I wake up at 333am and don't need it but I enjoy certain energy drinks and it helps kick me into gear.

I usually work my way up to 4-5 cups of coffee through the morning then (on workout days) 1.5 scoops of pre-workout. Somewhere around 4-5 weeks of this I'll grab a BANG on a Saturday and it does absolutely nothing for me and that tells me I need to cut back, so Ill cut out coffee in the morning and just do 1/2 scoop pre for a week or so....then slowly find myself working back up.
I used to need it to have any sort of personality, but it's much more manageable now......or I've just accepted my lack of personality and dont GAF

At one time I drank coffee every day, had to have it but wanted to quit because I don’t like being dependent on a substance.
I was taking a high blood pressure med that reacted with caffeine so I felt like I was having a heart attack whenever I drank coffee. That was back in 2008, I haven’t had caffeine since then.
