The fighting seems pretty easy so far. Won't even compare it to Skyrim yet, but it is a really beautiful game.I can agree with the use of the word 'finally'. It took me a fair few hours to really get to grips with how the game works (mixing potions, inventory, mutagens, keeping weaponary in good condition, buying/selling, what to upgrade etc) it can be overwhelming at first compared to say 'Skyrim' where you literally just pick up a weapon and armour and get to work. But after that 6 hour mark or so I've found that it's addictive.
You should go on to play the two DLCs 'Heart of Stone' and 'Blood and Wine' after the game (need to be level 35+). Blood and Wine especially is an amazing DLC; Toussaint is pretty much a full game in itself, with some crazy missions and memorable cut-scenes.
Not sure if I got to 100 hours on that game, if not then must have been close.

if you are not used to it play on an easier difficulty until you are comfortable with the mechanics then set it to a harder difficulty. no point in setting the difficulty too high when you don't understand the game and end up rage quitting because something uber challenging also isn't fun. with that said once you get used to it blood and broken bones is reasonable enough as a challenge.

Downloaded FF15 on the ps5 just to see if I could log in. I tried it back on ps4 but didn’t play long. I apparently attached an authenticator to the account so I’d need a code to log in. I think I linked it to my PlayStation account to so idk if I can unlink it and make a new account but its like a massive pita to figure this out. Probably just gonna say fuk it.

The Forest is so fukkin good omg. Love the realism and absolutely oppressive atmosphere and feel to it and we're completely new to the game and figuring out everything works together is the best part. We stopped exploring and started a massive undertaking of absolutely beefing the hell out of our base so that we aren't in panic mode every time an enemy attacks lol.
If the Forest 2 is pc only for its initial release it's gonna be so disappointing (since they're on console). The sequel looks even crazier.

Just finished an early Rakuyo run in Bloodborne. Basically kill the first three bosses, then beat the first two chalices so you can buy an item from the insight shop to make the shark bros easier, then kill the first three dlc bosses and the shark bros. Was not as hard as I thought it was going to be. Rest of the game was fun and a joke. I think it took me an hour to kill every boss after I got the Rakuyo. You can make it +10 right away. Got Skyward Sword coming soon. Excited to play it since it’s the only 3D Zelda I haven’t played.

Lol I remember using Ludwig’s holy blade to kill those sharks in the well from the safety of that cliff overlooked where you’d normally fight them when I was first trying to get it for the achievement. You could thrust the 2h version through the ground and hit them. I still think the sharks are the toughest enemies in the game.

Just started playing 'Zombie Army 4' as it is part of Game Pass. I am player single player currently campaign just to get a feel for the game. Can be a bit of a challenge playing solo (even on lower difficulties) but still early days and low level character.
Similar to L4D but more intense and basic enemies are faster and tougher.

Ive never backed a kickstarter before but they just launched one for an officially licensed Orlog board game from AC Valhalla and I think I’m gonna have to do it. Hated it at first but when i decided to go for the platinum, I fell in love with it.
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...eid=f3ac8a0fd6
Its a pretty good deal too. Originally, there was a $200 version that was limited to 500 copies that sold out. Now with the kickstarter, its only $35 but assuming the stretch goals are reached, you basically get the same stuff as the $200 version.

Returning to my farm in Sakuna: of Rice and Ruin
They weren't kidding when they said that farming in this game is surprisingly detailed lol enjoying it though. Highly recommended for people who want a relaxing game.
planting and growing

drying

threshing

hulling

growing seedlings

making fertilizers, and yep you need to scoop it from your outhouse(bathroom) XD

You even need to till the soil which was hard work
Farming is actually just half of the game. Half of it you'll spend fighting. And this goddess of farming becomes stronger the more rice there is on the island and also depending on how healthy the rice are lol

Is it like Stardew Valley? I love the whole idea of Stardew Valley, but I cant play these games by myself ... I get bored too easily, unless they allow like 3-4+ people like minecraft, then it's a lot more fun to do chit when you've got a big ass group of people in the game together.

brb playing monke in Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey

Later maybe I'll get some Tales of Symphonia time, then maybe a couple of ranked games in r6 before working again. It really depends on my mood which game I would play at a particular time.

Also saw a pic where there are kappas (Japanese water demons/imps. in some literature they are malevolent, but in some, they are benevolent) maybe they'll help with the water in the farm

Apparently Kappas do assault humans but once befriended "kappa may perform any number of tasks for human beings, such as helping farmers irrigate their land. Sometimes, they bring fresh fish, which is regarded as a mark of good fortune for the family that receives it.[24] They are also highly knowledgeable about medicine, and legend states that they taught the art of bone setting to human beings.[14][27][28] There are also legends that Kappa will save a friendly human from drowning" (Wikipedia).
Farming tools will also be upgraded
mane this got me more excited to progress through the game lol
