Think he can do it? The election was clearly stole from him last time. President biden seems like a good enough man but he clearly is in early stages of dementia. He is nothing more than a figure head at this point.
Ppl like trump usually just have one thing in mind and that is getting richer than they are. But you get the sense he wants to help save this country before he kicks off this mortal coil.

Couple things need to happen :
1.) Trump needs to approach his campaign from a more professional stance. His last year in office killed him and ended up costing him the election in 2020. Policy wise, he did nothing wrong IMO, but his tweeting, speeches and public handling of pandemic were not good. He came off pretty unhinged and it ended up making all those people in the middle sway towards Biden.
2.) Large % of Biden voters need to get sick of this clown world and want a change.
Personally, despite knowing I'd vote for Trump, I don't think he has a chance to win unless Biden's presidency goes down as one of the worst in history (it's possible). I think someone like DeSantis has a better shot due to him knowing the political landscape and has much better etiquette.

Trump was always part of the plan. He will run, get the nomination, and the DNC will go after him for being bad orange man. Liberals will cheer even though you're not supposed to go after political opponents. He will get arrested and conservatives will finally flip their chit. Civil War 2 is coming up.

The republican party needs someone who can win over on the fence voters who are growing sick and tired of clown world, and I don't think Trump is the guy to do it. He is too much of a divisive figure at this point. On the fence voters are likely to still vote for clown world over Trump. Someone like DeSantis would easily win over the MAGA voters without much effort at all, while also winning over some of the undecided voters due to being less polarizing.

We can argue the reasons why, but at the end of the day, results are all that matter. Trump was completely eviscerated by the democratic party and his name is now synonymous with "domestic terrorism" and conjures up images of a bunch of hillbillies raiding the Capital building. CEO's typically get voted out once their reputations get wrecked like that, and for good reason. The republican party needs a new face for 2024.

I don't even think he was a bad president but he's too polarizing and too many people have a negative view of him. He really did this to himself. If he had cooled at a little bit while as president he could have put in all the same policies without the trivial bickering on Twitter and he would been re-elected. He made himself into a clown, and a lot of the people who would otherwise support him got turned off by his antics.
He's burned that bridge and Republicans would be better off moving on to someone else.
