most lyrics are just fillers for the melody you hear, taking lyrics and making it into a song seems to be way less efficient since you have to come up with an entire melody around them.

Based on artist interviews over the years, this seems to be typical for a lot of music. Most of Nirvana's lyrics are nonsense as is Hotel California by the Eagles etc.

Nirvana definitely wrote a lot of nonsense lyrics. Hotel california seems like a story that was made up While high on heroin


Its strange though how artists can just make up random lyrics and yet the song still feels/is meaningful to people due to the vibe of the music

If you don't like the lyrics of Wonderwall then just listen to Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day. They ripped off the music and their lyrics are awesome. Like the MGTOW anthem.

Yeah, I tried to look up the lyrics to Champagne Supernova and he basically said they were just words and lines that fit the music, lol.
