Maybe take on more responsibility like Jordan Peterson says?
How you would want your life to look years down the life? Social, love, work life?
Alright so you got an image of a life that might be bearable to live?
What are the steps achieve this?
Go for it.
Now envision yourself years down the line and how your life would look like if you stayed how you are. Really think about how pathetic and how much more of a hell it potentially would be living your life.
Now use those two scenarios.
I have taken his simple advice around 4 years ago and I am in a much better place now still got ways to go but my life and demeanor has changed for the better.

Develop a semi-lucrative hobby like comic book artist or musician. You can write jingles for commercials.

Thats the thing brah. You have to take the first step in A direction.
You pick the wrong direction? Fine now you have narrowed down your scope and direction you wanna go with your life.
Give you a real life example. I got my certs in fitness for PT because it was the only thing i could see myself doing at the time. Worked it a bit and found out it definitely wasn't for me and changed.
If I didn't take this step then it would always be in the back of mind that I should of went with personal training or tired it out. Now I know it isn't for me since I gave it a good try and I can narrow my direction. Met 1 or 2 friends in the industry as well.
Right now I am a manager in retail and my plans are hopefully next year if things go well I will go into firefighting after lots of thought.
You just got to take the first step or the second and third will never come in your life brah. Do it while there is still youth in you. I wasted maybe 3-4 years of my 20's being indecisive and passive and now i've spent most of the years up until now correcting for that lost time and still am and i am getting there.

The only thing keeping me from going off the precipice is my loyal, loving gf (srs)
Without her, I’d probably have gone mad and into perpetual psychosis from the fukking meaninglessness everything always reduces into.
