You need to be in school or employed to receive an education or be trained.
If you are "educating" then you are employed as a teacher or something similar.
If you are "training" in a professional sense then you are also employed.

Long term goals... enjoy my time off, continue education at Uni, become entrepreneur, make a lot of money doing what I love
Those are my immediate long term goals.
I did it with a couple months savings. I'm going to make arrangements soon. I wouldn't recommend it
I've accomplished things but never took time to enjoy it or smell the roses. I'm working on enjoying the process. Das it mane
No need to be upset
NEET= Not in Education Employment or Training
I thought it was a welfare class too, but not necessarily. You could be a ballin NEET like myself

You should do something more productive with all that free time like train BJJ 24/7, train for a marathon, go on long hiking trips etc.
Even if you don't have cash you have time which is valuable and useful.

Total freedom is great but it sounds like you dont have the money to finance it so it sounds boring tbh.

And you probably aren't a NEET if you have at least some amount of professional training through your last job.

Maybe I am too hard on NEETs, but they get a bad name because online they act like failing is a superior choice and don't take responsibility for their actions.
It's tough love, living on government cheese is not something to be proud of.
Unless you are a monk or live in some sort of collective tribal society or something, we all need money to live.
Better you make it yourself than be stuck in this limbo of shame and dependence on government-sponsored charity.
That's why people lie about it in real life, because it's a source of shame.

Your day-to-day life sounds somewhat aimless OP. Not mirin. Don't you want to feel like you've achieved something at the end of each year?

It's notthatdifficult to get your needs (food, shelter, water, safety) met in 2021. I'm more focusing on what I want rather that conventional methods of getting what I need, such as working a job I hate while not doing what I want.

Believe it or not, some people want to do things that earn money.
The whole idea of "NEETbux" is exploiting the welfare system for your own gain.
Otherwise it's more like being an overgrown child living off your parents without working to better yourself or accomplish anything.

You want to enjoy the fruits of the first world without doing your part or having a work ethic. It's not difficult to get your needs met because you never grew up and you were raised in privilege. For some people it's hard to get their needs met, and they grow up much faster.
I don't have to worry about my needs because I cover them by working, but I make much more than I actually need. That way I can actually do what I want, which is not just consuming media or going on websites. I don't hate my job either, it's rewarding and working hard actively betters my situation.
The truth is that being a man is hard work. Being a manchild is refusing to grow up and take on responsibility. That responsibility comes with the power of self-determination. A man has to do things they don't want to do sometimes, to take care of their loved ones or to accomplish their goals. How can you do anything in life if you don't have the strength and will to do difficult things?
The whole situation just sounds depressing and unnecessary. If it weren't then there would be no need to cope.

Now that I think about it, I haven't been NEET since I was 5 years old starting school. NO before that I was at day care because my parents worked.
Mind blown.
But NEET's just not for me bros, I can't sit still. It sounds fun but theres just no way, especially with a family.
