If chipotle creates a drive-through, they can easily 2x their revenue, and increase locations.

Hell, there's a place in town here that ONLY does drive-through and that little thing place is THRIVING.

True, Imagine drive through chipotle but I feel like that is a challenge in itself with no SET menu and the design your own burrito / bowl but I have heard them touting that around before SRS.

I think the thing with Mcdoanld's is they actually own and CUSTOM build all of their locations on off parcels and RARLEY have locations in strip malls or other SHARED commercial spaces excluding retail shopping centers ( malls ) and air ports.

This contributes to their valuation IMO because SHEER real estate value alone is HUGE so that reflects as an ENORMOUS amount of their assets on paper COMPARED to chipotle which is usually in STRIPmalls I'm guessing renting our ONLY owning a small section of a SMALL commercial space I think they ALSO have less locations MAYBE only in urban areas like LA NY...etc

Mcdoanlds EVEN in the SMALLEST back country fly over TRUCK stop FLY over state has mcdoanlds SRS.

They are also INTERNATIONAL

I honestly can't believe how overvalued Chipotle is. Fuking Chipotle trades at a higher price multiple than Amazon and NVIDIA, chit simply doesn't make sense. Granted, I eat at Chipotle at least 1-2 times per week, but I can't see them growing their revenues by 20-30% year over year over the long term

There's just zero moat and zero switching costs for consumers. If Chipotle raises their prices by 10-20% (which they will have to soon), I'll just start eating somewhere else... they have a commoditized enough product that I can't see them having the same explosive growth as the other companies that trade at a 100+ P/E multiple, usually reserved for high-growth tech stocks... like how fast can you build new restaurants and decrease operating margins before some other restaurant catches people's attention?

Brb Chipotle trading at an outrageous P/E as if they've discovered some secret recipe, fuking rice and beans and chicken. What's stopping some other restaurant from making burrito bowls and allowing people to order them through an app to pick up? Any slight deviation in the growth plan would tank Chipotle stock

Based you right, Restaurants are TYPICALLY the most braindead INVESTMENT you could make in terms of EQUITIES.
