Is Nyjah Huston a lock for gold at the Olympics?

First time skateboarding has been at the Olympics and Nyjah paying $2.20 to take the gold medal. Seems like a damn near certainty boyos.

Skate boarding, while not traditional, would be interesting to watch. Swimming has to be the worst spectator event, big yawn.

Nyjah is just wayy too consistent to be stopped. He's been dominate for a while and he's still young AF. He'll be on top for the forseeable future

Shane was in some recent dew tour qualifier thing. I feel like Luan would be winning more of these contests but he refuses to do any rail tricks for some reason.

Don't really care for Nyjah's style these days, he always gets scored too highly on tricks in competition too, although I really only care about street videos. He's great no doubt and a legend for how long he's been in the game, but I prefer Chris Joslin's style these days. If he wins good for him.

Came in to say this. Nyjah is too good, but I'm rooting for Yuto the manlet - Yuto's style absolutely moggs every other skateboarder and he has got the technical skill to challenge Nyjah.

Will be rooting for Andy Anderson for the park - dude has got a unique approach to skateboarding, but winning is probably a longshot as we will probably just do a 60 second one wheel manual. Zion looking good to win park.

I think ppl don't like him because (1) he is winning everything (2) he is materialistic / partier / celebrity and (3) skateboarders love to hate. But there may be other reasons.

Honestly, I get the hate for #2. But at the same time, not sure how this is a new phenomena for skateboarding. Bam Margera was the worst violater of #2. And then you had guys like Chad Muska that did the same thing.
