Can't believe that this topic is 12 pages. Do women want a guy with some muscle over a soy boy? Obviously. But not in the extreme. Most would rather you have some size with 10-15% body fat (what most are calling an athletic build). Most think that "peeled" is gross. Most think that too big looks like a gorilla. And height and face still matter way more.

Aesthetic look (V or at least wide clavicles), decent size on your arms and not a sunken in chest, some stomach definition and no chicken legs.

Plus, women are high maintenance enough... they don't want a guy that is.

Amount of muscle most women find attractive:

Nothing's more beta that caring about what 'wemen' like. imagine caring what all wemen want or what SS likes JFL

This is what men actually looked like, once upon a time:

They didn't care about 'optimising my aesthetics so all wmen will love me'

Lifting is cool if you enjoy it, don't be autistic about trying to please 'wemen'

I think a lot of you have what a bodybuilder posing with a pump looks like vs how he looks just chilling in public or at home and its really not some crazy outlandish look

take Jason Poston for example here, 1 pic hes posing and trying to look like a bodybuilder, other pic just chillin on the couch. Women may not like how he looks specifically in the posing picture, but they think him in the cloths and looking like a jacked alpha manmore is hot AF.

Basically the ideal physique for slaying sloots. Would destroy prime 18 year old sloots 24/7 if I looked like this. Not bloated and overdone but a good amount of muscle

just lol if you legitimately think a guy who is serious about going to the gym is a turn off. Thats like saying a girl who shaves her body and trims her eyebrows and stays looking on point with her skincare and has that glow is too into her appearance and thats a pass.

This is just another cope by men who will never look close to this wanting to explain why their/some women find them as the most attractive man ever(and they dont)(not even close)

oh I totally agree with that

Most guys who are actually smart, take OJ, lift for a decade, and eat right will never look close to like an IFBB pro open bodybuilder but will actually end up more like the guys I posted.

Uh Chris Bumstead is absolutely massive.

If you saw him in real life he’d stand out for being freakishly big compared to everyone else than he would be attractive.

Guys like Steve Cook are more the optimal size for aesthetics. Yes ironic cause Courtney King is now with Bumstead lol.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

I'm just relaying the vibes I got from the wife early in marriage several decades ago, when I thought I was just doing what would impress her. Not cope, just my personal experience.

He looks better posing. His beard looks fake on the couch and there’s nothing special about him there.

Im just trying to prove people on here dont understand being a bodybuilder doesnt always mean you walk around with ILS and look absurd in normal clothes and look like a freak 24/7.

Most of the time you just catch attention for being large and noticeably shapely through clothes and looking masculine AF, not like a freak show attraction until you reach top 100 bodybuilders in the world size

This sounds like you haven't ever been with a high maintenance woman (one who always looks perfect, people stare / compliment etc), because they are consumed with always looking their best, to an extreme. It is nauseating and a turn off to most people once you get to know them.

Your original point may have been strictly on the visual attraction to someone super serious with diet / dedication to exercise, but most people will say "yes they look nice, but they look too high maintenance for me, not enough fun to be around."

youll still sleep with the high maintenance women though and your first thought isnt going to be to run away, its still going to be how hot they are

I do somewhat agree with what you have been saying, but not completely. Would a guy sleep with (insert type of woman) vs would a woman sleep with (insert type of guy) is never a fair comparison. Men on average have a much lower threshold for it to be a yes.

I have no doubt that even a super jacked guy will get some extra attention and even a few extra lays, but it would be the equivalent of a guy doing a midget or other oddity; more of a try it once to see bucket list type of thing, not necessarily your preferred type / ideal physique, or a type that you want to ever be with again.

I lived with someone that was the epitome of a super high maintenance, show stopper girl when I was younger. After seeing how much trouble it was, it has permanently changed my attraction to that type. Overly made up, where they look like they are too into themselves, is actually not attractive to me anymore and sort of repulsive so I would not sleep with them. This is not an internet brag, but I've never had trouble finding quality, so I have been very choosy over the years and honestly I would easily pass on those types now. That's what is great about being a a little older, we get better at using the right head for decisions.

If you are doing well with the ladies, I would guess that it more for face, outgoing personality, status, etc. that are statistically getting you more attention than just muscle mass. I think what most people on here are arguing is that it a point of diminishing returns and after a point extra muscle mass becomes more of a hindrance scoring more attractive points to MOST women.

No my IFBB Pro female friend looked normal in clothes if she wasn't wearing a tank top or shorts. Sadly she is gone

Yup. It's like some of you think we just walk around flexing with a pump, wearing ill-fitting clothes, projecting bad attitudes and autism-level social skills.

Some of you can speculate all you want that women are turned off, but you aren't going to change the mind of someone 'big' who has had firsthand experience still being successful socially/romantically/sexually.

Just for perspective, as a taken male not even looking for women this week I have had :
2 requests for me to go to women's bachelorette parties, one of them even paying

always chatted up by the hottest girls in the gym
fiance consistently asks for sex more than me still
every girl you have ever slept with closely following stories on IG
Complimented by people at the Grocery store/running errands every single time, wives and daughters turn their heads
I'm not the hottest girl at the gym, but if I see an exceptional lifter I grab my lady nuts and talk to him. Dude was doing laps without a shirt yesterday. Had to pick my jaw off the floor. You see dudes like that online, but not much in real life. Muscles are fun no doubt.

Yeah agree with this.

In my experience, the only downside to massive muscles, is the propensity to work up a sweat easily
