Miscers who have caught and recovered from boomer virus - how was it?

How long did it take for symptoms and what was the order?

How long did it take to fully recover?

Symptoms felt just like the flu. Had a high fever, chills, body aches, low appetite.

Started on a Friday, slept all day Saturday, by Monday honestly I was feeling pretty normal. I still had a cough for a few days after but that's pretty much it.

Are we talking about COVID, aka the boomer remover?

When I tested positive for COVID I had a sore throat and a cough for about a week and a half, hacking up green stuff every morning.... Though there was also a major fire here in California, so it is possible the symptoms were from all the smoke, ash and chitty air quality.

Caught it March 2020, ****ed me up pretty good for 2-3 weeks. Got better then started having chest pains for 3-4 months, diagnosed with post viral Myocarditis, had to spend 6 months doing no exercise and resting. Felt normal by Dec 2020. Do not recommend catching /10. Late 20's, fit as ****.

I’ve been hitting the gym hard for 4 months since it opened and I woke up with a sore throat this morning plus felt high in the afternoon like really lightheaded…nothing more since other than sore throat feels a little worse.

I have been hitting the bars/clubs for over a month tho so I guess it’s my turn now finally.

Ya dun goofed brah if you're not vaxxed and haven't been wearing a mask to gym. I wasn't vaxxed and was going to gym for over a year (Georgia gave no ****s last year and opened back up immediately) and I wore a mask every time and never got sick.

Stopped wearing one and got Covid within 1 week srs.

If you don’t have a fever, you might just be sick with something else. Check your temperature

Day 0: Got exposed to the coof
Day 3: Felt kinda tired, thought maybe I didn't eat enough carbs. Nose felt a little weird, kinda like dry or you just got punched in the nose. Went to the gym and I passed the fever scanning thing (lold). Hit a PR but work capacity and endurance wasn't normal.
Day 4: Woke up with a light fever that got worse quickly. I had wanted to order a test kit but my bright monitor and the website's light theme combined with like 4 pages to sign up started to give me a headache and I just laid in bed. Didn't have a great appetite, so mostly just drank juice and ate some light meals. Neck was unbelievably sore at night and I kept sweating so I put a towel on my head but I wasn't really hot.
Day 5: Fever peaked at like 101 or 102 I think then started to go down. Appetite was better and no longer got a headache from computer. Neck aches and sweating were marginal.
Day 6: Light fever in the morning that subsided nearly entirely within a couple hours and felt like I was 100%. Decided to do the test for bragging rights but thought I wouldn't test positive anymore (I did)
Day 8: Nose stopped feeling weird

Lasted about 10 days

- fever fluctuating like bitcoin between normal and 102 throughout
- lost smell and taste for 2 days
- diarrhea only 1x
- slight body aches throughout
- coughing came on the 10th day after I'd already tested negative and stayed for a week or so.

After:
- chitty phlegm still in throat a bit after a month
- weak in the gym as haven't been in 3 weeks, can do 2-3 sets max at 50% capacity but hoping cardiovascular endurance and strength will return as I continue training.

The average person get flus and colds every 1-3 years with same symptoms.

Now anytime people experience that same chit COVID is the cause.

JFL, every other virus and bacteria just ceased to exist in 2020.

But who was yearly 'flu pandemic', 'cold and flu season' since our existence?

Covid is the new go-to that replaces 'stress and anxiety' as a scapegoat for your illness. Can't wait for the inevitable 'covid causes cancer' to begin.

Sniffles for a day or so, then lost my sense of smell 100% tested positive. Maybe a little lightheaded but honestly not sure if that was just from laying around so much. Usually I'm walking around a lot at work, so WFH just had me sitting and lying around watching Netflix. Took like 4 weeks to get sense of smell back. Lamest deadly virus ever.

Just a cold bro.

Started with body aches and just feeling weird. Then a low fever and super slight cough. Was tired and a bit achy for 3-4 days. Day 3 I lost my sense of smell for about 10 days.

Smell came back but some stuff still 6 months later smells weird.

THE ONLY BAD PART AND I CHIT YOU NOT still to this day when I take a dump I either can’t smell it OR it smells exactly like cilantro. So fuking weird. Poop smells like cilantro now it’s awful. You go to eat tacos and now I associate tacos with taking a dump and am not hungry. DED SRS

Had it in December - 10 days of constant fever, chills and total exhaustion. Worst 'cold' I have had in easily 20 years but fortunately nothing overly concerning. Lost my taste and smell day 2 and it returned at about 75% a few weeks later. I still don't have it all and have the phantom smells referenced above.....a lot of things smell like cigarette smoke to me including coffee, popcorn, most meats, etc.

YO DEAD SRS except mine is more like bad garlic. And it's not just poop it's things like chicken and eggs and also piss. It's slowly starting to go away because when I eat something that has that smell, I try to think of what it actually smells like and then I breathe it in hard. Obviously not doing that with poop and piss, but you get the idea.

i have a sufficient intake of zinc from red meat and i'm never deficient in vitamin d (no homo) due to sun exposure/supplementation, so i never get sick (if you don't count hangovers hehe)

i was, uh, intimately exposed to 2 cuckvid positive gals and i got a very slight sore throat for 1 day and then nothing

incidentally, i was similarly exposed to someone who was the sickest she had ever been with H1N1 back in the day and never got anything

luckily, the "scientists" tell you to avoid red meat, the most common source of bioavailable dietary zinc, and to avoid the sun, the primary source of vitamin d, so everyone is sickly af

Lost taste/smell for 3 weeks, had symptoms around people (including parents) and they did not experience anything nor get infected.

Although had dyspnea (troubled breathing) when I went outside on my way to the gym, felt like I was breathing through a straw, but after working out didn't think of it too much ( was weird and a 1 time thing only; not sure if it was the virus or the cold air/very little cardio I was doing at the time)

Other than that nothing, I had food poisoning and the flu with worser symptoms than this bullchit.

Super easy.
I might have had a slight fever thursday night as well as a headache - I was feeling hot but didn’t do a temperature check - the fever was gone by friday morning. Friday and saturday I was feeling sluggish and still had a headache. Sunday I was feeling a lot better and I was completely fine by monday. Oh! I also had a dry cough from friday to sunday.

No other symptoms such as loss of smell etc.
If it wasn’t covid I would have done whatever I normally do, study, workout and so on.
