Where do you guys shop for clothes?

I normally just got to khols or jcpennys but I cant find chit that fits me right in khols anymore and no JCpennies around me

Costco for shorts and t-shirts sometimes even others if they have nice brands on sale which is here and there. Macy’s for that clearance rack, brb $10 Nautica polos. Then I go by sale, JCP will sometimes have good Levi sales etc. Almost never Kohl’s, everything shrinks there.

i just wear fitness clothes for the most part, stuff i got at shows, stuff from friends clothing companies, I keep a pair of each color jeans that fits still, 2 random brands from ross, 1 cinch , 2 from express
Then I have some short sleeve button ups and polos mostly from H&m, Banana republic, and express.

IDK how I always end up getting a bunch of free cloths.

I haven't bought clothes in 7 years but now I make enough money to get new clothes.

I have a decent amount of casual clothes and one good black suit.

If you really want clothes that fit well and last a long time then I'd say go to a tailor.

Might get some tailored shirts and slacks myself just for professional reasons, but honestly all I really need is what I have.

Not many situations where I need to dress formally, but life is changing and it may become necessary.

I normally just wear t-shirts and cargo shorts or gym clothes

go to JCpenny or mens wearhouse and get some slacks and button up and tie for the presentation if its that formal.

If its at a resort I would assume you just wear the same casual clothes and a swimsuit the rest of the time. If you're an actually big dude wearing gym cloths will be fine and a t shirt and cargo sounds typical of awkward been out of social life for years wear.

If you actually want to wear some nice trendier polos and pants/shorts then go to Express imo its the only place that fits larger males, all the other trendy places fit twinks and lanklets

Supermarkets - ASDA, Sainsbury (UK equivalent of Walmart, Costco) for basics - hoodies, underwear, socks, T-shirts, sports shorts, pyjamas, polos.

Primark, HnM (still barely more expensive than the supermarket ones...) - formal shirts, casual shirts, jumpers, chinos, suit pants, jeans, suit jacket.

The only things where I have invested in more "mid-market" brands that go up a notch - Adidas/Nike/NB their clean white leather sneakers, Clarks (UK brand) for formal shoes, Levis for a denim jacket, Columbia winter jacket. I have found that investing here in those brands/alike brands is worth it as it is a lot of wear and tear.

I dont have any of that chit out here

I have that typical h&m and ambercrombie chit but yea that stuff doesnt fit…i need to cut like 20lbs of fat/muscle to have button ups fitting right

I put on an xxl and its too long, put on an xl and the buttons look like they going to pop at my chest

Wellp, quality is a bit better than supermarket/basic brands (HnM) stuff but not worth the multiple times the price. So they will last a bit more but I am not convinced they will last significantly longer (assuming you know how to wash clothes properly).

The design of a crew neck jumper, a white formal shirt, jeans/plain T-shirt will be the same.


So for me personally, it is hard to justify "higher up brands" for anything other than some items that take a lot of heavy wear and provide some technical benefit worth the investment.


Everlane/Levis denim jacket is definitely worth it, Nike Air Force 1 in pure white as well.

But I don't see how Everlane jeans can outlast by a long long mile HnM ones. Dead serious.

Fair. Tbh, I’ve never really had clothing fall apart on me. Expensive or cheap clothing always seem to hold up just fine for me. Obviously higher end brands are more expensive, but the style is better IMO and so is the cut usually.

I don’t go crazy with clothing, but usually buy nicer things

Sometimes at Costco they might have some name brands for a good price, other than that it would be JCP's or Old Navy, usually wear business casual for work and have legit not bought clothes in a bit... I wear Clark's dress shoes for work, legit the most comfortable ones I've worn... For casual **** I usually wear a polo shirt or a t-shirt with shorts or jeans and sneakers

Jeans and shorts I usually just get at target. I wear western shirts a lot which I get at a local store. Tshirts I will grab anywhere I happen to see one I like. Got three the other day from a specialty store in my hometown in PA
