I remember your original posts when you were first diagnosed with HL. Sorry that you've been dealing with so much, but I'm glad and hopeful that you and your med care team are starting to get some answers and working toward a solution.

Cancer runs pretty prolifically in my family, especially NHL, so I'm sadly very familiar with it and the sides that intense chemo and radiation cause.

Keep pushing and keep us updated on everything.

Best wishes my dude.

Man I literally thought about you today for the first time in like a decade, didn’t know you were still on this site. Winterwolf/Wintermule. I was talking about aphantasia with someone and remembered trying to do guided meditation with you in the past and you thought it was ridiculous, I thought about the possibility you have it. Weird.

Sorry to hear about your cancer. I worked in a hospital with a big BMT focus and did nursing in that area often. Best of luck brah. I’ll be honest with you, a lot of immediate post-SCT patients don’t seem to have been adequately warned about the sides. The nadir phase will be awful (at least for the majority, some people have minimal sides) but you’ll get through it. If you’ve gone through intensive chemotherapy that may have been worse, and the worst is maybe day +7-14 after the tx

Strange to see this post under the circumstances. Also congrats on the kids boyo

This is a unique community, maybe it's not as big of a toxic shythole as it used to be but it is still the best darn toxic shythole around and everyone left in this glorious toxic shythole has your back and will help you get through this difficult time.

You are clearly a fighter pushing past those without the same desire to break through barriers as yourself. Stem cell technology is world changing especially in the hands of a truly caring practitioner. The fight may be hard, but you WILL win this fight as this shythole has your back! pics of wife or no?

I explained that it wasnt for lyphoma and that I had a disease that I thought may be cutis laxa. They called me back two days later and said they made an appointment with a Dr. Waller who is their bone marrow transplant specialist.
My first visit with him was over 2 hours long. He explained what he thought based on reading my history and notes. Proceeded to refer me to derm, did 3 skin biopsies, did a bone marrow biopsy, ct/pet scan, and countless vials of blood.

He read a few clinical reports of cutis laxa linked to a monocolnal gammopathy. His hypothesis was that these MGUS can be eradicated using stem cell transplants. He is the smartest and most thorough doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He gave a **** and did his homework.

Bro, go get another opinion asap. Ask for bloodwork, ct scan, and biopsy. Demand that ****. If something is wrong usually something in your blood will be off. Thats the first step, and if he doesnt order go pay for a damn CBC yourself. They should be under $100, even with self pay.

For my lymphoma, my first issue was a swollen lymph node on my neck. I was also getting random hives on my hands.

Yes, I know what you are talking about, not about your pain but that most of the time misc is a bitch while sometimes, at the most important timing, it helps us to keep moving and kicking.

You don't need to give us cliffs anymore, just tell us whatever you want to tell us, everything and all the things, anytime and all the time. We will read all of your posts.

And I must add, you look good, 80% of guys your age don't have the muscle mass and vascularity you showed us in the vid. And your face and expressions when you delivered it to us too.

My mother (85) was supposed to be dead five years ago from an incurable disease she gotaccording to her first doctor. But she made it,much to the chagrin of that doctor (j/k ), never doubt that she will be here tomorrow, and be always laughing in our weekly conversation on the phone, damn COVID-19...can't see her in person.

Believe yourself, not the science, and not everything the doctors have to say. Don't make yourself a number in the statistics, you are different and unique in this universe. Don't ever lose hope for you and your beloved family, especially your kids, your legacy.

Take care, we will be here always for you, my friend, my brother. *bow*

Have you had these before? You know what to expect?
I am a dad now and have two beautiful baby girls. My wife also depends on me as a husband and man. I have too many responsibilities in life, and I just need to be there for my babies. I would love any and all positive vibes. You guys had me last time, and I know I havent been here, but I am asking for love and support again.
Feels like yesterday this was starting and the wifey was asking if I'd experienced anything like it post-chemo. You've got a real one, she loves you to the moon and back. We've all got your back and you're going to beat this **** once again.

Only if you're comfortable doing so, please send contact info via PM. Would like to put something together for you.

I’m at a loss for words OP and for that I’m very sorry, I wish I could come up with something even mildly comforting but I feel sick to my stomach after reading all that and angry at myself for having the audacity to ever whine about anything in my life while a good dude like you is going through this. You’re gonna make it bro, give it hell.
