Yeah they might be anecdotal, but it was multiple people reporting that the extension would use up 20-50GB of data overnight. Some of the poverty miscers without unlimited data were getting fuked by forumbuddy. I don't think there's been any proof that it was specifically creating a botnet to mine bitcoin, but whatever it was doing was definitely nefarious

I havenโ€™t been able to view reps, private messages or pretty much anything on my user CP in 2 days.



Also, less important, for some reason it keeps telling my Iโ€™m on the supplements forum when browsing misc.

I wish you could stop deleting or 'archiving' threads.

A great many very useful past threads are being removed from being able to be used.

I hope that they can be regained somehow in the future if/when we get new ownership.

I see that the "JYM" stuff is now advertised on the black skin. I liked the black skin because it had no ads. I get that there needs to be ads to support the free forum.

I tried to approach Jim Stoppani at the Arnold one year and he was the most arrogant douche I've ever encountered in all my years here. I've met all the greats, been through the bodybuilding.com booth a dozen times with pics, feel like I know Ryan and Jas personally.

I think invites should be based on users contribution to the forums. The more a miscer contributes, the more invites he'll get. This will be on par with rep powers if not better.

Just tried to search an old 2014 thread of mine so I could link to a relevant thread just posted and found itโ€™s been deleted. Searched for a bunch of other old threads and theyโ€™re gone too.So much lulz and also information has disappeared into the depths of the interwebs. Interestingly, my post count hasnโ€™t gone down.

search by the title of thread @ site forum.obnoxiousbrutes.com and then choose the three dots to the right of search result if it pulls up a link to the page, then you can choose 'cached' in the lower right of the box that comes up when you click on the three dots [just to the right of 'showthread'] to see the page -IF- it has been cached by google - some pages have and some have not - if it has been cached then 'cached' will be in the lower right of the box. Then click on 'cached' and the page will come up.
