a lot of the police are on the protesters side. Accidently not taking notes and can't remember much. Hehe Hehehe they also would have been in P2 level masks if they deemed the protest high risk for cov19

I've been seeing videos of how violently they are dealing with protestors. Stay safe Aussie brahs.

I'm thankful for the way things worked out here in the US. You've got enough states like Texas and Florida who are done with this chit and won't play ball with the Covid BS anymore. That severely undercuts the ability of everyone else to keep people locked in their homes with some narrative.

For all of the people elsewhere, until the protests get seriously violent and the people running things feel threatened, I don't know how this all ends.

How sad the male population of Australia has become.
The bug-eyed, problem-glasses wearing VIC Premier, soy cuck Dan Andrews is just about the accepted limit for masculinity these days.

Interestingly enough, this was a part of a worldwide demonstration that included a protest in Santa Barbara, California.

So it seems like people in lockdown states are making efforts to regain their rights which I support completely.

Funny to listen to a politician talk about hard work.

When protesting is illegal you know things are bad.

We have to deal with people like this in the US, and I imagine the rest of the world is the same.

I did find a reddit post about that, they were linking to an article that posted a still image and the full video was nowhere. Unsurprising. I didn't even bother responding, it was an echo chamber. And yes I'm aware that it's reddit, I just wanted to see how people are looking at that video and warping it into a different narrative.

Turns out you just use a still image of the yellow shirt guy with his fist in the air. Reminds me of the 15 year old shooting by a police officer where people called it based on a still image. Then the video shows he acted accordingly.

Here's video from channel 7 explaining why:

More things happening:

- the media and politicians are still claiming there were 3500 protesters when it was obviously way more
- they keep telling people to call crimestoppers and report anybody that they recognize participating in the protests
- people have started instagram pages with screenshots of people at the protest
- the horse incident
- they keep showing the altercations with police but not videos of people protecting a police officer and him shaking protesters hands.

Where did you hear she was obese? Somebody is claiming they know her and the family and their gna make a statement soon but he reckons she died from a drug overdose.

No, they're just thousands of people who have had their livelihoods destroyed over insane draconian measures over literally nothing.

I wonder how a social media and IRL campaign based on fact might do?

Things like the low level of transmission outside w/a reference to supporting documentation?

#StopLying

- percentages of ages/conditions of those who died with COVID
- importance of Vit D
- comparison with the risk from other contagious illnesses

And I'm just curious what it has cost the world per COVID death if you add up spending on treatment, shut downs, and vaccine development/deployment.

Even more interesting would be that number in relation to estimated lost years of life, or IOW, if the people who died with COVID had not contracted the virus how much longer do we expect they would have lived?

So I hear there is another protest planned this weekend, hopefully just as many or twice as many show up. Just to recall the media's lies and the police's empty threats:

1) The protests were called Covidiots and anti-vaxxers. They aren't anti-vaxxers for the vast majority. They are anti-lockdown and anti-tyranny, not anti-vaxx.

2) The police said this was "unprecedented violence". Someone threw a potplant and that guy pushed the horses head out of the way because it was being used a battering ram. The protestors were mostly peaceful.

3)The media doubled down on the "lockdowns are saving your lives" and "we're doing this for your own good" narrative. That's classic abuser logic to say you're doing it for one's own good.

But lockdowns don't save lives. They ruin lives. Over a virus with a 99% survival rate. There's evidence they're not more effective than non-lockdown alternatives, and justified only with hyperbole and speculation and fear-porn. "Bodies will pile up in the streets otherwise!". That's not good enough. The burden of proof is on those who impose lockdowns, and they need to show therewillbe huge numbers of deaths and overwhelmed healthcare systems. Not speculation about possibilities.

4) Media is portraying the protestors as "lockdown or bust" types and think they don't care about anyone else.

Absolutely not true. No anti-lockdown advocate I've heard of suggests simply not caring about the virus and not caring about people getting sick. Everyone I've heard from, conversely, says focused protection is the far better option. Focus on at-risk groups and segregate if need be, and let low-risk groups, that is, the majority of us, make reasonable decisions about our health and return to our lives.

5) Police said the protestors were "anarchists".

Complete and utter BS. Anarchists advocate for no centralized government. This has nothing to do with that. This is about tyranny and government overeach implementing absurd and draconian lockdown measures which are ruining peoples lives and crushing small businesses.

Don't believe the media's lies.
Back off, Warchild.

Lockdowns help reduce the spread of covid. The appropriateness of a local lockdown depends on the local cases or potential increase of local cases.

And economists have looked at that and disagree with you. There's a reason almost every government independently came to the same conclusions.
