OK, that stat makes more sense on OK Cuppies. Now I get it. I've never used dating sites/apps so I have little knowledge about that topic. But I can definitely understand using good clear accurate pics. The problem is guys have told me that they meet up with a woman, based on her pic, and she turns out looking NOTHING like her pics in person- a big turn-off for them. I think moderation and realism needs to be kept in mind here (on dating sites) on both sides.
People NEED to good tech skills in order to upload clear, vivid and attention-grabbing pics to "promote" themselves and their personalities. Their pics SHOULDN'T DECEIVE but their pics SHOULD do them justice. Either one is making a mistake. But now I know it IS possible to look worse in non-shopped pics through certain uploading processes on some sites. Tech and basic photography skills, plus an eye for art, will help with this.

1. You're making the false assumption that women are demanding serious monogamous relationships. This is not true. Young women now would rather share the attractive guys she wants instead of have a regular relationship with a lower tier man.
2. 30% of guys reported not getting any sex. Of the 70% who are, how many of those are with fat chicks? The amount of guys getting consistent satisfying sex and relationships is at the absolute most 50%.
3. In 2021 looks are everything. If you are physically unattractive you won't be able to match online and women won't give you a chance to flirt irl. I know this to be true I get reminded every time I'm out socially

IIRC women under 30 are in relatively short supply vs. the number of men seeking women under 30, then over 50 it flips and there are a lot more women available than interested men. Probably part of the MILF trend, young guys wanting to smash, but too hard to compete for women their own age.
