The US should win regardless of which NBA players are playing. Lol @ sportball fans/announcers making excuses. Basketball is the American sport, it shouldn't even be close.

Team USA expects to win based on talent alone. Unfortunately for them other nations play with pride and play a team version of basketball. They scrap, they hustle and they hold each other accountable.

Our team has more talent than any other one team out there, but doesn’t have chemistry, since many players are all stars they’re not used to the whistle not going their way and they definitely don’t play with an edge on either end.

Contrast almost every American superstar player with how Giannis just played in this postseason. He was diving for balls, running into the stands to try and block shots and absorbing hit after hit on the inside. He had the hustle of Rodman even though he could have just flailed his arms and cried for every call like most other spotlight players. That’s the main difference between other nations and their players compared to ours.

The refs were horrible and one sided against USA. The euro rules are different with short 3 point line and larger lane. Other teams play together pretty much year round and have chemistry. USA made some indefensible roster decisions. Kevin love? Wrf. Then grabbing keldon Johnson and javel Mcgee over zion and Trae young. No lebron, no curry, no harden, no AD, no KAT. 3 players on team USA got to Japan like yesterday after playing in NBA finals.

Took the refs fouling Durant out and missing a million calls for France to beat team USA C squad.

How do they play year round? France basketball players also have pro teams that take up the majority of their time. Gobert is a great player, no disputing that, but we have 10+ all stars to their 1 all star. The talent discrepancy is overwhelming even without Steph, Lebron, Harden, Kyrie etc. No excuses
