I hate 2021 where everyone has to revise the history like it was some kind of disaster.
You can probably go on YouTube right now and watch most of it. Including the tent camps and all that ****.

this documentary looks like propaganda littered with massive overstatements of how woodstock 99 was
it was a **** show because it was poorly managed and produced not because there were soo many youn angry white guys. It was a ****ty stage, ****ty electronic set up, ****ty planning for the restrooms, food, water, and actual venue grounds. Everything about it was just an epic failure.

Watching it right now. It's not pushing the SJW agenda much except that they talk a lot about angry white guys - which was 90% of the attendees. Small wonder that putting half a million people in one place with angry music resulted in a riot. Especially with no security, no water and no facilities for people to even take a crap.
I'm not surprised at what happened, especially with women getting assaulted. One of the organizers makes a statement about he wishes that the girls didn't walk around naked the entire time and he's right - what do you think a bunch of angry drunk males are going to do in a crowd if girls are walking around impaired and topless?

If I recall women were walking around naked, showing tits the whole 9 and yea some people out of hundreds of thousands were criminals ok. They tried to say the riot police were polite and it was white privelege but if it was a black event they wouldve been busting heads LMFAOOO Fuk 2021

The show was poorly planned but the behavior of the crowd was 100% consistent with any other hard rock show from the 90s. To imply otherwise, or that Woodstock 99 was some outlier of white male rage, is simply a lie. Every single rock show I went to in the 90s was the same as this, head banging, girls taking their tops off, everyone drinking or on drugs... I mean, this is what you go to these shows for. And Limp Bizkit was the highlight imo. Break Stuff and Thieves kicked ass.

All the "squares" were marching for their rights, in the middle of nationwide race riots, and trying to manage an international war.
All the "hip people" were getting drug addictions, debating the new music record, and butchering foreign religions into woo woo cults.
Not much as changed, "hip people" are getting high and arguing about pop culture while "squares" are grounded in reality dealing with real problems.

Yeah man I hated that bald headed fukker that blamed Limp Bizkit and then when people tried to object that the place was filthy he interrupted and talked over them. Piece of chit. It was poor planning and he never owned up to that

Honestly though I think my take on "squares" and "hip people" is not fair to young people these days. Young people in America have the opportunity to enjoy life and participate in culture. It's just that some young people don't get that chance, especially if they have a rough upbringing.
Like that Limp Bizkit video is cool, but the hip hop music comes from young people who grew up around death and extreme poverty. Even the greatest rockers like Elvis or GG Allin had it rough growing up. The popular music industry is supported by the patronage of young people with comfortable lives and few responsibilities, which is not necessarily a bad thing.
It's the same in Korea or Japan, the success of a pop artist there directly connected to the household income of their target audience. That's why I lol when people reminisce on their days of low responsibility as the peak of their life. Those years were a damn rollercoaster in my own life, definitely not free of worry, if anything I am looking forward to having more responsibility and achieving more within a stable life.
