What is the difference between these two polos [pics]?

One has the logo, which is annoying for a monochrome design and is 10x the price. Quality/Lasting time is better but is 10x better for 10x the price, don't think so.

RL Polos are the goat. Ive tried them all and they win hands down. Nothing wears quite like a like a well liked RL polo

If you are cheap, you can get them from Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc. Make sure you are getting slim fit or custom slim fit. Classic is what all the old fat guys wear and it looks like chit.

first the matter
the second one is a mix of cotton and linen.
the fisrt one if you're lucky will be 100% cotton but I bet there's polyester in there.

I own a lot of ralph lauren stuff and these will last forever, like you will pass them to your son in the future.

holds up well when you wash it. the first one will lose it's form and/or gets hole with time.


like always, what's better ?
buying one time a 50 bucks (on sale) ralph lauren that will last forever or buying every year a 10$ x brand polo ?

100% cotton on the cheap one, I agree polyester is crap

I have a friend who was RLs and they don't last forever at all.


I agree investing in something that will last is better; not convinced that it is the case here

WRONG.

I always have a favorite shirt that I wear more often than the others. My wife usually throws that shirt away because she is sick of seeing me wear the same one all the time. Ive never actually worn one out in my entire life, nor do I think I have ever gotten a hole in one and I live in them.

Ive never had a cheap polo last even 6 months without losing shape, getting bacon collar, or getting a random hole.

the only polo shirt I own is a Paul Smith srs. If I ever buy another polo, I'd like to try Sunspel and maybe Travis Matthews; although, I don't golf. This makes it difficult to find space for this type of shirt in my wardrobe. I typically prefer a button down
