This is the best answer. I wouldn’t care if they’re Democrat leaning but the crazies are buying it all now. We need some of our mega rich conservatives to roll up their sleeves and buy out some of these places so there’s more than one side of the story being shown. I wish their were bigger independent and really centered media. They buy them out or nobody wants to hear what the ‘other team’ thinks.

Interesting... some of the answers I thought would be bigger. It's 209 BILLION buckos. Buy a country and make your own rules, and invite all the miscers to now be a citizen of that country.

Build a space program in order to get your own tech to the moon on a permanent basis, that way you have dibs on another $$$$$ idea when we have settlements there over the course of the next 100 years

honestly the first thing I would probably do is go by the Lamborghini dealership and buy the best Lamborghini on the lot and hand the salesman a suitcase of 400k and say have the paperwork ready in a couple of days ill stop by when I can.

Then call a realestate friend and tell them to get me the keys to a condo downtown that I now own, preferably a penthouse on a high rise if one is available, if not the nicest luxury condo on the highest floor.

Then go to the nicest restaurant in town and eat whatever the **** I want while I think a little harder about what to do next.

Obviously I would hire a team of consultants and an investment firm and accountants and such, but I would knock off a few million that first day just to set up base. Probably go buy a more practical car the next day, but it would be fun to drive around in a brand new lambo for the first day.

personally I would rather get a bugatti because its just better in every way but most people wont even know what a bugatti is and everyone knows what a lamborghini is

Start shopping for the best seaside real estate. Probably Monaco or Portugal then plan on buying a vineyard in southern France or northern Italy to start curating the finest port/Pinot noir money can buy

Only then will I consider buying a lambo or Ferrari because of the proximity

I dont really know but I doubt thats how condo sales work. I would assume some investment group builds a building of units, they then sell those units off 1 by 1, and technically the building becomes owned by the tenants and theres an HoA that keeps up with maintenance and regulations. I dont think you can buy a building of already purchased condos but I honestly do not know.

And that guys buying billion dollar yachts and chartering it out for a few million a pop to rich people on the weekends to help pay down the cost is a "burden" of time/money rather than a strategic business move? You forgot that people worth 100 billion are workaholics and addicted to making more, but they literally don't have to "work" at it when they have 30% ownership in a major corporation thus basing their net worth on whether or not the stock appreciates anyway. Bezos might have retired but he is still a 16% owner in AMZN, giving him all the time he needs to focus on other ventures like going to space and colonizing mars
