I had a friend who literally did it because "I'll get two days off work." OP, you shouldn't regret it. Like someone else said, can't do anything about it now. Just buy some neat masks with cool patterns.

I saw this coming at the start of Covid, that’s not a joke. Sold my house, bought two rental properties, one in a ski/lake town up in the mountains, that we have turned into an Airbnb..from that alone I’m set...plus I own two businesses..I really don’t have to worry about mandates aside from being able to enter a store.

Tbh nobody knows the long term repercussions of having caught covid either.

You’re kinda damned if you do vax, and damned if you don’t.

Decision is easiest if you’ve already had / recovered from covid relatively easily.

If you haven’t been vaxd and haven’t had covid, you still have it in the back of your mind that you could be one of the unlucky ones

Governments are using vaccination %ages as the basis for lifting restrictions, so I'm not sure remorse about your own vaccination status is the appropriate emotional response

If I took the plunge so restrictions could be lifted but those restrictions weren't being lifted because others weren't getting the jab, a hint of resentment might be the correct reaction

I think trends in hospitalization and death numbers are more what health authorities/governments are looking at right now, and there is zero chance vaccinated people will make up the majority of those

International travel pretty much requires vaccine or quarantine for most countries. Tourists don't want to quarantine for two weeks. If governments stop trusting vaccines, we'll be right back where we were in 2020.
