Women on the other hand, run a program that involves many different variables to come to see if a man is attractive. It does include the immediate physical cues that represent a healthy male - height, posture, teeth, skin, etc, but it also includes many other variables that are not immediately apparent - like social status, wealth, confidence, charisma, etc. This means a woman's attraction is MUCH more malleable than a man's. Men take those things into consideration as well to some extent, but we have a barometer in our pants that bypasses all of them in a fraction of a second.

Whether we like it or not, race is a huge factor in one's immediate 'image'. That image is what women base their attraction to, so they are much more susceptible to if society says whites are wealthy and tall, black people are athletic and cool, and asian people are smart but geeky. That immediate racial stereotyping is on a subconscious level and plays a big role in a woman's attraction.

So when a woman is sensitive about being reduced to her race, it's because she likely holds race to a very high regard, at least subconsciously.

Also, I would say the yellow fever white guys have is often because they can get a much more attractive asian girl than a white girl, and the reason for that is the asian girls are giving bonus points for being white. It's not because the guy is more attracted to asian women, it's because with the arbitrary bonus points awarded for his whiteness, he can get a more attractive asian woman.

This exclusion definitely hurts when you’re younger as you form ideals by watching television, movies etc. Reality is very different where you quickly realise your place in the world - unless you’re a successful outlier it’s no going to end well unless you change your expectations.
