Apparently he was upset that he didn't get paid (allegedly. would you believe a tradie?).

I wouldn't know about such practices, as I receive direct deposit every two weeks (white collar office worker, masters degree).
It is the current year.

There's people that still don't get direct deposit? I've been a tradie for 9 years and every company I've worked for has done direct deposit.
